Summary: This is a great place to stay and relax! We went to the beach during the day and chilled out at the house in the evening. Beautiful property and the house is very comfortable and open. We will definitely come back!

Summary: We had an amazing time staying here! The house went above and beyond what we were expecting. Beautiful home! Tammy was very pleasant and always available when we had questions/concerns. Thankful for the opportunity to visit! Quiet neighborhood and easy drive to Crystal Beach! Not the best phone service out there BUT that just makes for more time to enjoy what the house and surrounding areas has to offer!

Summary: The house and property have a really good feel, and it's surprisingly quiet inside considering it's on a state highway. The bed and furniture are really comfortable, there's a lot of coffee, and the porch with two giant oaks is great for relaxing. Right in the middle of all the bird sanctuaries!

Summary: My husband and I visited High Island for the spring migration of birds. While some of our group stayed in Winnie, we lucked upon this lovely, large and well appointed home right on High Island! It is blocks from Boy Scout Woods, Smith Oaks and other local sanctuaries. It's a brief drive to either the Bolivar Peninsula or Anahuac and about an hour around to Sabine Woods. Or, you can bird in the front yard where there are two towering, sprawling and ancient oak trees. The day we left we saw five Summer Tanager males and three wood thrushes at the same time within a few minutes. So, park yourself on the picnic table and get out the bins! The interior has been totally remodeled with new appliances and furniture. The master suite is mother-in-law style and very private with an adjustable head king size bed. One guest room has an adjustable head queen size bed and the third, two twins. The two guest rooms have their own full sized bathroom. [Aside, we went shopping for an adjustable bed today as we liked it so much.] The house has an open floor plan with a large dining room table that can easily accommodate 8 people. With just the two of us we felt quite grand. We lit the electric candles for effect on the table and in the fireplace. Very nice. We will definitely be coming back to this home, as long as we can beat our friends out on the listing. :)

Summary: This place was so cute! Very spacious and comfy, felt right at home and loved the big trees in the front yard! The beds were great, not like hotel beds...lol. Big open kitchen, dining and living space. Master bedroom was adorable, as well as the rest of the house. Although it rained some on our stay, we still enjoyed grilling on the small pit we brought and spending time together! Thank you Tammy and we will be recommending your place to everyone we know!
