Pau Hana (‘finished with work’ in Hawaiian) is in the heart of Mt. Gretna, The Campmeeting! Fully insulated year-round cottage. Off-street parking for 2-3 cars. Walking distance to the Playhouse, Tabernacle, Hide Away, Jigger Shop, Porch & Pantry Restaurant, miniature golf, pizza shop, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, and Rails to Trails walking paths. Colebrook Tavern and Colebrook Crossing only 2 miles away. Go for a swim and relax on the beach or grass area at beautiful Mt. Gretna Lake during the summer months. There is something going on almost every night including plays and live music.
Cottage information:
Fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, dish sets, pots and pans, silverware, mixing bowls, cups, wine glasses, mugs, cutting board, and cooking utensils. Open floor plan with dining room and living room, a large table under chandelier lighting for everyone to eat together and hardwood flooring. Watch your favorite shows as usual on the large, flat-screen Smart TV with Roku. Board games and books available. Full size washer and dryer are located on 1st floor. Laundry basket provided. Bathroom 1: Half bathroom located on 1st floor with toilet, vanity, washer & dryer.
Bathroom 2: Full bathroom located on 2nd floor with Claw foot tub. 3 air-conditioned bedrooms located upstairs. Bedroom 1: queen size bed. Bedroom 2 & 3: full-sized beds. All bedrooms have closets with hangers provided.
Enjoy your favorite beverage on the front porch or the back deck that overlooks the wooded yard and fire pit.

Summary: This wonderful home is a great place to stay and experience the uniqueness and beauty of Mount Gretna. The front porch and back deck were perfect places to drink our morning coffee/tea, read, and relax. It is conveniently located to the main attractions in town. We walked to the nearby Hide-Away Cafe where we sat outside and enjoyed a delicious meal. We also took a short walk to the Jiggers Ice Cream Shop where we enjoyed sweet treats. The cottage is a short drive to Mt. Gretna Lake and Beach where we swam, and rented kayaks and inner tubes. The owners lived nearby and were very kind and pleasant. We appreciated them checking in with us and providing us with coffee pods as well as other thoughtful amenities that made our stay very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Summary: Lovely cabin. Would book again. I would only ask the outdoor furniture in the back be cleaned a bit for guest use. Would have hoped it but could not turn on hose. Short trip so not a worry.

Summary: This place was very cozy and very quiet place to stay very family, Friendly. The only thing that we would change would be for the owners to put Some kind of tape on the stairs one of my kids was walking down the stairs and took a tumble because the stairs were slick. We would definitely book again with them.

Summary: We stayed for a weekend traveling through PA. The house was so clean, comfortable and peaceful. The community was so friendly and the houses were all fun to look at while out for a walk. We enjoyed the concert at the local outdoor theater. Highly recommend staying here and in this community.
