Enjoy magnificent, breathtaking, unobstructed views of miles of vineyards on the foothills of the Troodos mountains while you lounge around the solar heated private pool in this peaceful, traditional Cypriot village away from the tourist areas but close enough to enjoy if required.
The villa is an ideal retreat for privacy, rest and relaxation. It is the perfect accommodation for small family gatherings, a group of friends or couples who appreciate privacy whilst on holiday. Children enjoy the pool, the open spaces and going for nature walks into the vineyards - or spending hours on their 'screens' in the shade of the veranda or in the air conditioned rooms.
This spacious villa is arranged on one floor with no stairs, it has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one one suite) and has plenty of wardrobe space. The open plan living and dining area has high ceilings and plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee & tea facilities. Outside the private pool is solar heated, the large pool area is fully furnished with sun loungers, sofas & outdoor dining facilities with table chairs and a barbecue. The property is fully air-conditioned in all bedrooms and the living/kitchen areas, there is a gas fire for the cooler months. The house stands on an agricultural road so there is almost no passing traffic.
Polemi village is a short walk and has many amenities including 2 tavernas, 3 small cafes, banks with ATMs, a butcher shop, a bakery, flower shop and several small supermarkets. The town is known in the region for its viniculture and has two wineries which open to the public on selected days. Polemi is an agricultural village, olives, nuts, melons, citrus fruits and an array of vegetables are also grown locally.
The villa is situated just 20 to 30 minutes drive from the regions beaches and visitors can enjoy exploring the diversity of coastal options; commercial sandy beaches to the south west such as Coral Bay and Paphos' municipal beaches, quieter traditional beaches to the north in Latchi and the clear waters of Argaka, the relative wilderness of Lara Bay, or discover one of the many coves or unspoilt micro beaches dotted along hundreds of kilometres of coastline.
Paphos Airport is only a 30 minute drive from the villa and Larnaca a 90 minute drive.

Summary: Second time we have stayed here and the villa is immaculate. Pool clean and fab to cool off! Really grateful for starter box of food items plus milk and water in the fridge as flight didn’t get in til late. I would recommend a full length mirror somewhere and reviewing driving directions once you reach Polemi. The Bank of Cyprus doesn’t seem to exist anymore Otherwise highly recommend

Summary: Nice property with great views to the mountains. Plenty of places to sit and relax outside either in the shade under the veranda or by the pool. Pool was perfect temperature and friendly pool-man ,Ian, came twice a week. Temperature in June was perfect , 28-31degrees during the day with a light breeze making it ideal. Air-con in all rooms , but only occasionally needed as fans worked very well. Plenty of towels supplied which were great and nice welcome pack provided. Polemi is a nice small village and people were friendly. Two good tavernas, a cafe-bar and two supermarkets all within walking distance. Plenty of beaches within 25 minute drive. Latchi , to the north, well worth a visit with its marina and restaurants. Also plenty of Boat trips and quad bike hire there. Paphos old town has a very good market. The Archaeological park at Paphos is well worth a visit. The Monastery at Kykkos is amazing and you can get there via the road from Pano Panagia through the cedar forest. The Troodos mountains are beautiful, with plenty of walking trails and the town of Pano Platres is very pleasant. The villa is a great place to either sit by the pool all day and enjoy the views and then go out in the evening or use as a base to explore the western part of Cyprus. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: What can we say, the stay exceeded all our expectations. The location was quiet and relaxing. Stunning views and beautiful pool and outdoor space. Owners had thought of everything. Charming village, close enough to visit Paphos and neighbouring beaches. Lady that run the mini market near the bakery was lovely, friendly and so welcoming. Village had enough amenities. A couple of good restaurants. Lovely drive into Paphos, passing Aphrodite’s Rock - micro brewery and restaurant, we enjoyed beer sampling, lovely food and brewery tour. We loved every minute of our stay. The owners were so lovely and helpful and responded quickly to queries. Nathan quickly fixed a faulty air conditioning panel on our first morning after us arriving late. There was excellent communication from the owners. Both Tanya and Nathan were amazing hosts, couldn’t fault them. Air conditioning unit in our bedroom was also replaced quickly when faulty. Pool guy was really friendly and efficient. Owners daughter made a special trip to drop batteries for the pool lights. Amazing all round and we would love to return. Thanks again

Summary: A great place to relax and recharge the batteries. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable for a family. The pool was lovely and wonderful views from it. Summary: The villa was in a quiet, peaceful part of the village (it took a few wrong turns in the dark to find it despite good directions!), within walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants(Katerina was lovely and the Olive Tree makes delicious meals). The villa was clean, comfortably furnished and very well equipped although a cool box would have been very useful for outings. There were plenty of towels including beach towels. The pool was a good size for my morning (and sometimes evening) swim, but also suitable for less able swimmers. We spent a very enjoyable day lazing in and around it to recharge our batteries. It was also very welcome after sightseeing in the heat! The area around the pool was well furnished with an assortment of sofas, tables and loungers. We sometimes ate outside to appreciate the view across the valley. As the villa was near the end of the row it also felt very private. We hired a car for our stay and found the villa well situated to explore this part of the island, approximately 30 minutes from Paphos or Polis which have plenty of beaches, shops and historic places to visit, as well as boat tours. We even had a great time at the zoo! The Troodos mountains were quite a drive away but beautiful to see (perfect for anyone who likes hiking). There are plenty of churches and monasteries in the area, we went to Kykos monastery which has stunning religious murals. We would have liked to see more of the mountain areas but didn't have time on this trip. There was a problem with the air conditioning in one room but this was quickly sorted out. There was a folder with plenty of information concerning the villa, shop, etc however it would have been useful to have leaflets of things to do on Cyprus. Fortunately there was good Wi-Fi at the villa to help plan our days. We all enjoyed our stay here and hope to return one day. We would recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday or as a base to explore this part of the island, away from the more lively tourist hotels.

Summary: Absolutely stunning views from the pool area was the icing on the cake for our visit, combine this with zero noise and we returned home the most relaxed we can remember. Communication with Tanya was excellent and there were nice touches on arrival to make you realize your booking is appreciated. Arriving late at night to find wine, beer, fruit, eggs, bread, and milk etc. set the scene nicely. Although the pool is solar heated, it was not enough to get us in the pool regularly. Before booking Tanya has said this would be case in late October so there was no disappointment and we headed off down to a great little beach close to Coral Bay a few times to take advantage of the fine sand and warm sea. Inside the villa the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the lounge area ideal. The food in the two local taverns is decent and visits to the many restaurant’s at Latchi and Paphos harbour’s is well worth a look too. If you like scenic road trips the drive to Latchi is impressive. Overall the villa and location suited us well and we would return for the isolation and views alone.
