Summary: We had five of us and the house is well appointed, spotless, beautiful view and we could not have been more impressed with the location. We rocked on the porch watching the river with is right out front. Friends and family came over and we ate a great dinner cooked on the grill. Off the beaten path, quiet and very very peaceful.

Summary: Our group included 4 adults and 4 kids ages 2-7. This cabin was perfect! The kids loved climbing on the trees near the river and roasting hotdogs and making s’mores by the firepit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the beds were comfortable. The river is beautiful and a lot bigger than we expected. We can’t wait to come back in the summer when we can enjoy it as well!

Summary: This was one of the nicest rental properties we have stayed at in many years. The house was very clean, tactfully decorated, and had a great layout for our family. The front porch swing and outdoor firepit were everything we needed to relax and reconnect from the hussle and bussle of daily life. Unlike many other properties, the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make meals and prepare coffee, etc. Owners were very responsive. Hope to stay again soon. Thank you!!!

Summary: A wonderful, clean, and welcoming home with an outstanding front porch to rock away your stresses as you watch the New River slowly float by. Great owners to work with, very hospitable. Owner was in contact multiple times, provided his cell # in case I had questions. If you want a quiet, relaxed place to stay and unwind with an incredible view you can't go wrong staying here.

Summary: The house was beautiful, so clean and really felt like home. It was such an easy walk to the river, we spent most of our time fishing and just relaxing. So much shade from the tree's and loved the porch. We really lucked out with little rain. When it did rain we just hung out on the porch. The road to get to the house is pretty steep, but my Ford focus made it, just slowly. Great experience and I highly recommend for a quiet vacation.

Summary: Cabin was clean and very well supplied and beautiful location although somewhat secluded so that we did not want to go back into town after our daily activities. The host did note that both WiFi and cell service are intermittent, slow and sometimes non-existant which cannot be helped in that location. We were a group of 5 that came to the area to ride the New River Bike Trail and at the end of the day really enjoyed sitting on the portch looking at the river. Unfortunately evening rain showers precluded our ability to enjoy the fire pit. Again, not something that was controllable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
