Summary: The location is great, walking distance to the Alamodomo. The property is spacious, lots of rooms and bathrooms. Some shortcomings: the upstairs toilet flushed rather slowly. And the kitchen doesn't have a dishwasher.

Summary: Cute house that was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The owner provided us with water in the fridge and clean/comfortable towels, linens, and comfy beds!! My only complaint is that the house is RIGHT next to a major freeway as well as a train track that has VERY frequent trains at all hours of the day. I would not consider this house to be a walkable distance to the happenings of downtown San Antonio- at least we didn't feel comfortable walking. The side yard was very nice to have and has a little sitting area. The outdoor chairs were older and one fell apart while I was trying to move it into the sunshine- but it worked for sitting outside once I got it put back together. I would suggest having a fan other than the ceiling fan available in each room instead of just 1 on the main level to try and drown out the train and traffic noise at night. The house was an easy Uber/Lyft ride into the city with an over abundance of restaurants and activities. San Antonio was such a fun city to be in for our conference during Fiesta! Thank you for the hospitality!

Summary: Caleb was attentive and very accommodating. The location of the house was ideal for the convention center/riverwalk activies (close, but not too close!). The small things contained in the house made us happy (after buying a few bottles of wine and fretting about not having a cork screw, the house luckily had one). Plenty of items in the house to alleviate bringing your entire bathroom with you (towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. included). Kitchen is slightly outdated, but still fit our needs perfectly and there were plenty of items (pots, pans, plates, cups, etc.) to help your cooking plans, if needed. Before I go into the only negative, I just want to say that the neighborhood the house is in is just fine. In fact, there are a lot of other homeaway/other renting site houses within the neighborhood and a park right next door to the house. The only thing that is somewhat concerning is the neighborhood to the north. I thought we would be able to walk to the convention center (less than a mile from door to door), but the neighborhood in between this house and the convention center does not look friendly and I would advise you to not plan to be able to walk from the house to anything. Uber or drive! Overall, it was a good stay and if a random reviewer on the internet means anything to you: I would recommend! Thanks!
