Positive: Well decorated. Comfy furnishings and plenty of space for the family. The bathroom had the option of a shower or bath. The kitchen was well fitted out with all that you needed. There was an enclosed balcony at the back which had views right across to Larne and on a clear day youcan see the ferries.
Negative: No access to the garden without having to go out the front. Steep stairs to access the property and the railing was a bit low to comfortably hold.

Positive: Surprisingly spacious apartment with astonishing views ( binoculars provided by host!) You can spend hours watching the lighthouse and ferries. The cosy loggia/balcony makes it sooo relaxing. The main bedroom is enormous, and the others are big enough. The smallest doesn't have a proper wardrobe, but you can put younglings there (room is slightly isolated from the rest of the apartment. 2 other bedrooms have enormous wardrobes, tho. It has a big, very nice bathroom, walk-in shower, decent bathtub, and handy sink. Towels in the hotpress. The kitchen, dining, and living room are combined, but don't worry! There is enough space to cook, eat, play games and chill simultaneously. All basic kitchen equipment is there. No air fryer, but a functional oven. 2-door fridge with freezer. Parking space in the street was always available, and the road wasn't busy. The local shop doesn't have much on the shelves, so you must do your groceries in Carrickfergus. If you want to enjoy a calm location, but still visit Belfast, it's perfect! Consider leaving the car at Ballycarry train station and travelling to the city centre by train! Better for your nerves and pocket, and much more adventurous! Anyway - spot-on spot

Positive: Our host Robert met us on arrival and was very helpful. Great view, despite the weather!! Millars Bar is recommended for a meal and/or drink!!
Negative: The facilities described on the Booking.com website implies there are two bathrooms, which was one of our priorities when booking! in actual fact there is only one bathroom and we would not have booked had we known there was only one!!
