Positive: What a lovely place to rest, great owners who are very accommodating. You're close to the main street with lots of lovely places to eat and antiques to check out. Beautiful scenery and nice walking spaces.

Positive: The host (Minnie) was fabulous. Breakfast wasn't included (which we knew when booking) and she recommended suitable locations in the town (2 mins walk). There was however tea/coffee facilities with premium products for both (e.g. Twining Royal Tea). The bed was comfortable and it was good to be able to park onsite (Inside a locked gate).
Negative: No complaints

Positive: Minnie was an excellant host, very welcoming and their lovely puppy Bo is absolutely gorgeous Ideal location Although the train runs very close by we didnt hear it The bed was very comfy
Negative: There was not a lock on the door of the room, not sure i would feel comfortable if other people were staying there Only option for water was sparkling, would have been nice to have the option of still water

Positive: Location was great, an easy five minute walk to the high street in Hungerford. Plenty of pubs, cafes and antique shops and near to the canal. Apparently Hungerford Common was only a 2 minute walk away. Minnie was a pleasant and friendly host. A very quiet location. Tea/coffee making facilities were available in the hall along with a very tiny fridge which had fresh milk in. Minnie had made the room welcoming with roses from the garden. Parking was off road and behind an electric gate. Shower over the bath was very efficient and toiletries were provided.
Negative: Check in was very confusing and better communication or a note on the homepage would improve this. We feel a lock to the bedroom door would have provided us with more security/ privacy, but overall good for a short stay. Not sure the bathroom was ensuite, it would appear that there was another room which had it had been occupied would have used the only bathroom. At the time of our visit the other room was unoccupied, thus we had the bathroom to ourselves which had a lock on.
Summary: Overall a pleasant stop over.

Positive: 30 Park Street was perfect. Comfortable, clean, quiet. Cannot fault it. I essentially had a whole 'wing'. Not only a room, but a bathroom and extra area adjacent. It was wonderful. Plus the hosts were very accommodating. I was unsure as to me estimated arrival time (as I was arriving on foot). I called ahead to make them aware, and they were flexible with their check-in policy. They then called to check I was doing well and didn't require any further assistance. Very much going above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area or looking to take a stop whilst traversing the Kenneth & Avon Canal.
