Um der Attert has 4 double rooms for up to 8 persons, each with its own ambience. A large kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, extra toilet and garden. On the top floor is a large loft for group sessions, games etc
The 'Rue de Fleurus' Salon
This cozy, intimate lounge pays tribute to the famous salon of Gertrude Stein. Comfortable, cozy, and conducive to conversation, it encourages exchanges and discussions. Two large sofas are placed facing each other, designed for dialogue. On a large central coffee table, you'll find a wide array of art books, a nod to Pablo &co. The vintage desk in the room inspires 'old-fashioned' writing, in homage to Apollinaire &co.
The 'TV 1838' Room
Built in 1838, our house features a room that pays homage to that era. Opposite the bed, a period tapestry, framed in black, subtly addresses the global phenomenon of visual change. Through this composition, we aim to make our guests aware of how we 'see' and 'consume' images, in response to the contemporary overflow of visual stimuli. The absence of televisions or other screens in our rooms is part of this approach, promoting a genuine disconnection and rejuvenation."
The 'Romance' Room
This room is unquestionably the most 'gentle'. The white walls have been subtly softened by draping them with ecru-colored fabric, giving the room a unique acoustique that is often forgotten nowadays. The minimalist layout of this generous room is complemented by an adjacent dressing area, allowing for storage without disrupting the serene and sober composition of the space."
