Summary: The property is lovely! I spent a wonderful 3 weeks there in July 2022, one week my youngest daughter (25 years old) was visiting me and for 10 days my partner was visiting me. The property offers enough space to comfortably spend the days there with 2 or 3 people. The little balcony is wonderful, especially when you are with 2 people, to sit on in the evenings or when having lunch of coffee in the apartment. The apartment is excellently located close to both the Aiguille du Midi cable car station as well as the Aiguille du Midi train station where you can hop on the train taking you anywhere in the valley. The apartment is in a nice location with a supermarket (Spar) and several restaurants and pubs within 2 minutes walking distance. Chamonix town centre is perhaps a 5-minute walk, the Montenvers train station is less than 10 minutes and the Chamonix swimming pool is about 10-12 minutes away by foot. The apartment is in an excellent location to enjoy Chamonix by foot without having to worry about renting a car. I was there without one and the local train and bus services (free using your tourist-tax card) really cover most of what you would want to visit. I took a bus transfer from Geneva airport to Chamonix (about 30 Euros return) which is offered by several companies such as FlixBus, SwissTours and BlaBlaCar and all those busses conveniently stop at the "Chamonix Bus Station" which is really just a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The landlord, Mr Fiey, is very friendly and communicating with him in person or via WhatsApp was always easy and efficient. Everything in the property shows with how much love the apartment has been put together and maintained, which makes staying there a real pleasure. The shower is excellent, the separate toilet is spacious and very good, the little kitchen has everything you need. I spent my time in Chamonix climbing and hiking, enjoying the good food and lovely atmosphere in the town. From the apartment you have excellent access to the high mountains via the various cable cars and mountain trains, and plenty of good hiking trails start right in Chamonix and are easily accessible from the apartment as well. I will definitely want to return to the apartment in the future.

Summary: First Floor Apartment 2 minutes walk from the Bus Station with the centre of Chamonix being just a little further away. It is in a quiet location and has a balcony with a view of the Brévent massif peering above the building opposite. It was the right size for us and had all of the facilities that we needed. Jean-Pierre is friendly and helpful.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay at Jean-Pierre's apartment. It's a small space, good for 2 people, and in a great location near the Midi lift. The balcony opens onto a pedestrian promenade that is quiet. There is a ski locker on the ground floor. Also, since I was unclear on guest cleaning responsibilities I'll leave this advice for any other American who is unfamiliar with a rental in France. There is a requirement to return the apartment fully cleaned, unless you opt for a cleaning service charge up front (was 50 Euro for us). "Fully cleaned" is not just tidy, as you should leave a place in the USA. It means sweeping, mopping, glass cleaning, cleaning the toilet. You are preparing the apartment for the next guest. Or, if this doesn't suit you you could pay the cleaning fee. We had some waiting time when we arrived and I recommend giving the host a call to time the initial meet-up and key exchange. Jean-Pierre is a friendly and helpful host. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Very nice apartment it has everything you need to enjoy the mountain and facilities to cook, wash clothes etc. The bathroom is modern with a large good quality shower. Many of these apartments have the main bedroom and lounge area connected, this one the bedroom is completely stand alone and accessed from th hall, making it more suitable should you wish to share the property (is suitable for 4 people). The only thing I wasnt sure about from the advert is the location, the apartment is in Chamonix Sud pretty much directly opposite the bus station. This was ideal for us skiing as we were within walking distance of all of the shops restaurants and bars but could also catch every colour bus from over the road (great for getting to the different ski areas). Mr. Fiey was very professional and helpful. The only thing I'd say could do with an upgrade is the double bed in the bedroom as it feels a bit worn out. Thank You,

Summary: The perfect place to stay for a visit to Chamonix. 2 minutes from the centre of town. Under ground secure parking. Fob entry to the complex. Everything you need is in the flat which is well laid out. We stayed for sking and the free bus service is just around the corner but we mostly used the car as all the parking at the gondalas is free. Last day in the valley was very foggy so drove through the tunnel (discount with all areas ski pass) and skied Courmayeur in Itay in brilliant sunshine. Thanks Jean-Pierre
