Mariners Landing has it all - gorgeous views, family fun amenities, and more! Make yourself at home in our lake front 2 bedroom condo. Relax on the balcony and soak in the stunning views of Smith Mountain Lake.
This condo is located on the 3rd floor of the 3rd building - Mariners Landing: The Pointe. This condo features 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is a Queen bed in each of the bedrooms as well as a Full sofa sleeper - perfect for up to 5 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishware, utensils, and appliances needed to create your favorite meals from home. All linens are included in rental. We suggest bringing extra beach towels so you do not have to cut into bathing towels, however, there is a washer and dryer - please note detergent not included. You can enjoy the lake view from the kitchen, living room, and balcony.
All guests have access to all of the amenities that include indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, basketball court (equipment not included), playground, game room, walking trails, private beach, etc. There is also an 18-hole golf course on site; clubs not rented, contact Mariners Landing Golf Course for more pricing and tee times. There are also a boat launch and complimentary floater docks during the day time. Please let us know if you will be keeping a watercraft in the water overnight so we can provide you with proper tags at the front desk along with taking payment for slip rental.

Mariners Landing Hospitality is located in a private golf and residential community tucked away in a cove on Smith Mountain Lake.
We are located off of highways such as 122 and 24 and Mile marker C6 by water. We have free parking in our lot on site. We are nearby main highways and routes to get to restaurants, water sports, and sight seeing on and off the water. We are located approximately 45 minutes from both Roanoke and Lynchburg airports.
There are highways nearby and mile markers on the lake to get you to nearby restaurants, gift shops, and sight seeing. We have boat rentals on site through Mariners Landing Boat Rentals (a branch of Bridgewater Marina). We have a restaurant on site, The Landing Restaurant,please check their website for hours. Please note that the closest full grocery store (Food Lion) is 10-12 minutes away and a convenience store with a deli about 3 minutes away. When our restaurant is not open or for different style restaurants, the Westlake area has the majority of the lake's restaurants and activities that is about 20 minutes away. All things listed are easy to get to as we can give guests a guide for attractions and restaurants.

Summary: The condo was nice but smaller than expected with older appliances and windowless bedrooms that felt more like closets. The air conditioning was functional but limited. The price is somewhat inflated as the condo itself is no better equipped than a mid-tier hotel stay with a kitchen. The amenities of Mariners Landing and lake access are the real attraction. As a result, we spent more time out of the condo than in it, and never cooked more than breakfast. The space is too small to really be comfortable, but overall, it was fine, just not great.

Summary: This is a condo and they have quite a few units. If you call the pointe at Mariners Landing they can help you find a place that may or may not be listed in vrbo. The view is amazing!!! There is a balcony like area that is glass windows. The top window is able to open all the way and gives you a beautiful view of the lake. We are both artists and enjoyed sitting there. The chairs out there are not great for a larger person because it has arms on the chair. There is a lounger that is lower. We were able to burrow a dining chair that didn’t have arms. The other furniture is quite comfortable. It was very quite when we were there but the boats are right there and I imagine in warmer weather there might be extra sounds on the water. We didn't take advantage of the indoor pool because it was located a few buildings away. We really were content enjoing the view. In building 1 there is a place that has Starbucks style coffee, snacks, and unique gifts. In building 1 there is also a peruvian inspired restaurant Prices were a little on the higher side. We picked up dinner one night and enjoyed it in the condo. It was very good and we hope to try to recreate some of the flavors at home. There were some slight difficulties checking in. The elevator was not working for a 3rd floor stay and the code for the door was not correct. We were able to get in touch quickly with the property manager and they were able to help us. The next day the elevator was working! If you arribe earlier they have someone at the desk in building 1 that can asist with checkin. checkout was an easy process. We were able to check out a little later and that was the biggest gift. it made it where we could have breakfast and pack everything without having too be rushed. It was so nice. The place itself was as described. There is a jetted tub in one of the rooms. They had a lot of nice extras for cooking like some pans and assorted other dishware. Other things to note some books, some things for exercise like yoga mat, assorted weights, and workout dvds. Space was comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. We found there wasnt to much in the area but that was what we were looking for. We wanted a peaceful escape and this was perfect. Instacart is possible for a few places, they have a Foodlion and a Kroger. Overall it was just what we needed and hope to be able to come back again!
