Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our time on the peninsula, and Kimberly was a great host (answered questions and made sure we felt welcome). Great morning spent on the side deck and dock, followed by naps in the hammock and dinner on the grill. A perfect spot to getaway from it all! Thanks!

Summary: What a cozy cottage on a secluded peninsula! Although it was a very hot weekend, there was a nice breeze almost the whole time. Sunrises on one side, sunsets on the other side. We had everything we needed and water was so clear and refreshing. We fished right from the dock and there's a quaint little beach across the way where we hung out and met others while floating. Acton trading post was just a couple minutes away by boat, great food there and all your basic needs too. Recommendations: - when u arrive, you'll need to park about 100 yards away and walk the remainder. The owner supplies a big gorilla cart to make it easy to bring your stuff down. If you have difficulties walking (need a wheelchair or walker), I wouldn't recommend staying here, but otherwise it's nice and quiet and the camps aren't on top of each other. - we had our truck and fishing boat, which made it very hard to turn around in the parking lot area, super tight! We went and did groceries afterwards and loaded the groceries in the boat and parked the truck at the boat launch for the weekend. When we left, we loaded everything into the boat and headed to the launch by boat. Way better option to do if you're bringing your own boat! Boat launch is only a few minutes away. -make sure to bring your own radio if you want tunes Only downfall here is we didn't stay long enough! We plan to come again but stay longer than 4 days. Loved it!
