The first bedroom is located on the groundfloor and features a spacious room with a king size bed. The second bedroom includes a desk and a king size bed with an attached bathroom on the second floor. The third bedroom is a spacious queen size bedroom with a desk and hallway access to the bathroom on the second floor. The first bathroom is on the main floor and the second is on the second floor. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything you need to prepare food for dinner, lunch by the water, or a picnic. The living room and dining area's have a view of the water if youu want to soak in the views from inside. Outside you'll have access to the dock, a firepit area, playground, and a large grilling area with a charcoal/gas combo grill.
The property is located a short 5 minute walk from Kinsale and Rivah Winery.
The owners of the property may be on-site in the back-wing during your stay. but will not have access to any indoor spaces included in the listing.

Summary: This is a first class place to stay! What a view! We were there for a nearby wedding and didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked to. Highly recommend staying here.

Summary: We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Kinsale Bliss Cottage. The house was very clean, stocked with necessities and had very comfortable bedding. The property manager, Laura, was very quick to respond to any requests and assisted us with having the kayaks available to take for a paddle. Great view of the water from the property in a very relaxing setting.

Summary: This property is a wonderful place to unplug, and take in the sights and sounds of nature. It rained the evening of our first day there, but we could sit on the enclosed porch and look at the river below. The day of our departure we had our breakfast on the porch as well. Wireless is a bit sketchy, but we needed to unplug anyway!

Summary: The only thing about this stay that was bad is the little amount of time we were there to enjoy it. Super clean, great comforting set up with plenty to do. Owners communication outstanding. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again for a longer amount of time :)

Summary: Quiet beyond compare. I heard ONE plane in our 10 day stay and absolutely no traffic, noise or otherwise. The view from the master bed, day and night, was picture perfect; especially at sunrise and moonrise. Fishing from the dock and kayak in the inlet was relaxing, convenient and satisfying. Cookout and fireside were peaceful moments. Dinner out was relatively cheap and not too far away. BACKDRAFT : American bar and food, LOS PORTALES : Spanish cuisine, NINO PIZZA, and BIG MIKE'S seafood. If you need to escape the rat race, Kinsale Bliss will provide sanctuary.

Summary: Kinsale Bliss is located in a quiet riverside residential neighborhood common to the Northern Neck. Sitting on the screened in back porch was so peaceful: watching the water and listening to the birds brought me an instant calm. The house is outfitted with loads of games and activities so it's easy to stay busy if you decide to stay put (we had a family gathering 30 min. away so we weren't at the house much). My only complaint - and admittedly it's unique to my family - is that the shower is REALLY small. My husband is 6'6" and daughter is 5'11" so they struggled in the small space but it was an inconvenience we could easily overlook. I also appreciated that the owners allowed us to bring our fur babies. They both enjoyed the porch and our Lab especially enjoyed swimming in the river.

Summary: A more serene spot would be hard to find! The cottage sits above a quiet cove of the Yeocomico River (can only speak to the mid-September!) A favorite feature has to be the screened porch as it was the perfect spot to spend an evening. As for the interior, there is a large living room/dining area, nicely appointed kitchen and two bedrooms of fair size. Be forewarned that the shower is tight for folks of large physique’s- just not much room to turn around. But the shower head can be easily maneuvered. We would definitely return and also recommend it to family and friends.
