Just over the New York border, across the Delaware River, you'll find magic at the PA Pondhouse! Enjoy two acres of history and nature with modern touches complete with a large fresh water spring-fed pond, fishing poles, games, hi speed wifi, TV, fire pit, grill, garden, renovated kitchen, and more! There are several hiking trails nearby and the Delaware River is a five minute drive and 10 min to Skinner Falls (tubing). There are several wonderful local restaurants, although you may not want to leave the house!
There's plenty of space here to enjoy time together with loved ones, or to disconnect for personal projects. The backyard is secluded and the private pond is exclusively your's to enjoy. We swim in it just about every day, but we may ask for you sign a waiver for liability purposes. We have tubes and rafts for the pond as well! And plenty of backyard games.

Summary: Second time staying at PA pondhouse and once again it was nothing short of amazing. The first time I went up with friends, and all i was able to think was how much my father would love this place so I had to make it happen. I was right, My family loved it and all agreed that we’ll be back atleast once a year as our little family getaway. They dogs had a blast!!!!! They had so much land to run around, wish it was a little bit warmer for them to jump in the pond but we’ll save that for the next trip. We fished off the dock for hours and caught a bunch of fish, my fiancé caught a large mouth bass! Alex is such a great host!!! If you’re looking for an amazing little getaway book this house, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Summary: Three of us worked remotely from the home for 2 weeks-- excellent wifi, extremely quiet location, large home so we could spread out, and the visits from bunnies, hummingbirds, and deer made it very extra special. Likely because of 93 degree weather and lack of rain, the pond got pretty filled with algae growth so swimming was out, but that was only at the end. Otherwise it was a blissful place to spend part of July.
