When you arrive you’ll have exclusive access to explore the 4 acre estate grounds.

- Renter must be over 25 years old. We do not permit sleeping on sofas or furniture without prior approval. Depending on size of group we may require a refundable damage deposit.

Summary: Overall the house was very nice. All the essentials were provided. The beds and linens were comfortable and cozy. The water pressure and temperature in the showers was good. The property was nice, with many amenities. Few things were left to be desired. Some seating and/or additional surfaces in the bedrooms would have allowed us to keep luggage/items off the floor. The shower curtain was the fabric liner type, so it smelled like rotten towels. We had to provide our own propane and firewood. The listing made the place seem more secluded and like there were trails on the property. However, the house is a corner lot which seemed unusually busy. It was still very peaceful, besides the occasional neighbors' home improvement project or barking dog. The property was overgrown and the trail was not maintained, so we used very little of the 4 acres (there was no way to know the boundaries to be explored). The lighting to get to/from the hot tub left you sitting in a spotlight. One of the beds had some remnants of the previous tenets which left us a little uncomfortable about the state of our linens (no top sheets, just a fitted sheet, comforter and throw). Still, the beds and linens were like sleeping in a cloud. The only real concern was that none of the stairs, inside or out, were even, so be careful! Overall is was a great trip, close to many hikes and stores for anything you forgot. We saw herds of deer and flocks of turkey every day. Only bear sighting was a footprint.

Summary: We stayed here for our wedding anniversary getaway and really enjoyed our stay. The house and property are both lovely! It was great that there were fenced areas off both the front and back porches so our dog had a secure space. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and wished we had come a little later in the season when the pool would be open. Would definitely return!

Summary: Our time spent at Elyse's cabin was absolutely PERFECT! She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was everything we could have hoped for and more. Elyse was not only available to answer any questions we had, but she made sure our time there was special. From the moment we pulled into the driveway (to be greeted by several deer) and then walked into the beautifully decorated, fully-stocked, and spotlessly clean cabin, we knew it was a well taken care of property...and the welcome tray and birthday card were an added touch that meant so much! We thoroughly enjoyed using the game room, fire pit, and hot tub, and our family spent every day using the well-stocked kitchen and relaxing together. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were sooo comfortable that we all wanted to come home and purchase the exact bedding and pillows! Another added bonus was the fenced in dog run that made bringing both of our dogs an easy time for us all. The memories we created at Elyse's property were PRICELESS and our family couldn't have wished for a more unforgettable time together! Thank you again, Elyse! You and your cabin are AWESOME!
