Welcome home to 6.5 acres on a private exceptional fishing lake, with Kayaks, row boats, and a canoe included. 2021 updates include new flooring, paint, furniture and more. Brand new water softener added Fall of 2020. Beautifully furnished, carpeted, and freshly painted updated home offers four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, with linens provided. Enjoy home cooked meals in this large newly remodeled kitchen with all the amenities of home. Spend your evenings on the spacious wrap around deck, with plenty of outdoor furniture to entertain or relax and make smores around the fire pit . Have a BBQ on the patio. There is also a children's play area and sandbox as well. Enjoy the beautifully landscaped outdoors in the shady backyard that provides relief from the heat. If soaking up the sun is preferred, the property is cleared and makes for a great space for camping, walking, volleyball, soccer, or playing catch. Pets are welcome for a small fee.
We provide 4 kayaks, 2 row boats and a canoe free of charge.

Summary: The property itself is amazing, plenty of space for little ones and four legged friends to run and play. The home is updated and very clean with so many sleeping options. Two of the three bathrooms were right off of the bedrooms, providing basically two masters. Anything you could need in the kitchen is there. Great stay!

Summary: We rented this for a weekend to attend a home ND game. It’s about 30 minutes from the stadium. Very big and great for our party of 3 adults and 6 kids. All could have their own bed. The property was clean but a little musty smelling. Beds were clean and comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to really go out on the property much. It does have well water so definitely bring drinking water. Also not many close by stores or restaurants- best to bring food with you.

Summary: We had our 1st family vacation w/ 3 sons , 2 Daughters in law and grandchildren. We had a great stay, easy access to the beaches. We ended up going to 3 different beaches during our 4 days there. All were beautiful and wishin 25 minutes. Lots of yard room for the young children to play , the fishing pond was a great extra for the guys. I would say our only downside was the amount of pet hair present when we arrived. We had to vacuum the house. Children were 8 mos, 2, 3, 6 and played on the floor a lot. Thank you!!

Summary: We had a great time at William and Jenny's place. It is definitely off the beaten path in beautiful Michigan. The house was clean and well kept. They supplied all the basic necessities such as towels, paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. There was all the necessary kitchen equipment. The property is huge and my kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the bonfire, camping outside, and boating, omg they loved boating. A little more attention to the boating area would have made the trip even better - there were a lot of lilypads which made it hard to launch the boats, but we still enjoyed. Please note - while it is a private lake, it takes 5 or more minutes to walk there since it is a large property. The house is right next to a fairly busy road which did get noisy at times, but we are low maintenance people and didnt mind it. Overall adults and children alike had a great time creating lots of memories. We would definitely recommend this place.

Summary: My family totally loved the place. The lake is very clean. They caught fish everyday and we had them for dinner. My granddaughter loved the University Mall for shopping.The owners are very easy to get a hold of and the check-in is easy as pie. A good time was had by all. E Setlak

Summary: We were a group of 8 adults one night and ten the next. We all went to a wedding at Bell Mare in Galien. The venue was a short 1.4 miles from the house! It was perfect. The house gave each couple privacy and bathrooms were plenty. I highly recommend.

Summary: We enjoyed the house, very clean, great beds (except the bunk, was extremely squeaky & unsturdy?). Wondered why no real locks on bathroom doors? We did like having 3 bathrooms! The outside sitting & eating area are fine, lots of seating, although as others said, VERY noisy close by road till about 11pm. The kids loved the large flat grassy areas to play ball. The MAJOR disappointment was the lake. The kids began calling it a pond, which may be right! The smallness would have been ok, but we could not use it at all as some boats were under water, 1 oar for a rowboat, and absolutely NO pier, dock or anyway to get into boats without going through marshy water. Thought we could at least fish, but again you have to get totally wet first to get in a boat. No pier or walkway to fish off of!! I thought I read here that they built a new dock?? We never saw it!!! (this is why only 3 stars) Location is good for wineries, little area towns, & New Buffalo. We did enjoy the firepit immensely!
