Summary: As a family that lives in different parts of the US, it was nice to find a central location to meet and spend a weekend together at. The house was huge, with lots of living room space. The bedrooms were great in size too. The bathrooms were nice too. Something that we didn't expect to enjoy, there are no TVs. The ability to disconnect and enjoy our time together without the distraction of TV was super nice. This is a GREAT home to consider if you're looking for a retreat space. But if you're looking to have a family movie night, there is reliable wifi, so a projector and speakers allowed us to enjoy that. We couldn't use the pool because of the weather, but we enjoyed sitting out and making smores on the little fire pit out there. The location was perfect. It was quiet. The stars are visible; we did a bit of star gazing. We will consider returning for future family gatherings.

Summary: Wish we could have used the pool but to early in the year. Place had plenty of room. Owner responded when called right away. Everything we needed was there. Close to Roscoe Village and quilt shop which we enjoyed. Outdoor fire pit close to pool with plunty of seating.
