Summary: Our first trip to Maine and our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Phillips lake. The house was very clean and comfortable. You can tell it is well cared for by Gail. And Gail was so friendly and helpful. She is very quick to reply. We would absolutely go back again. Highlights for us include: House: - Quiet and relaxing lakeside setting - Kayaking on the lake and lounging on the dock - Very clean and stocked with everything we needed - Large gas griddle in the kitchen – we used it many times! - Outdoor seating: upper deck, lower deck, screened in deck, fire ring – many ways to enjoy the outdoors. (we had 3-4 really beautiful weather days) - Friendly outdoor cats to greet you at the house - Walking trail (we went about 2.5 miles down towards the big part of the lake, not sure how far it goes) Maine: - 2 trips in to Acadia/Bar Harbor (took us closer to an hour to arrive at our destination each time) - Beautiful hiking trails in Acadia plus two local hikes (Bald Mountain & Dedham Trails) - House is only about 15 min from Bangor - A surprise find for us was only 25 min away - Fort Knox and Penobscot Narrows Observatory! This was so fun to explore the old fort and to go up the 420ft tower. Stopped at Carrier’s Mainely Lobster for lunch and had our first Lobster Rolls. - Holden-A-Kone Ice Cream was very good! - Fielder’s Choice in Bangor for mini golf!

Summary: This house has everything you need for a vacation in Maine. The house is very comfortable and is in a beautiful setting. There is an old unused railroad track that you can walk along with beautiful scenery. We saw a hawk and a bald eagle. The lake is clear and clean. The kayaks and floats came in handy. The property is close to Bangor and Ellsworth, while also not far from Acadia and Bar Harbor. We had take out from Jones Lobster which was very good. Overflowing lobster rolls. In Ellsworth, Airline brewing has good food and beer. We hope to come back and stay again. Last but not least, the owner Gail was friendly and helpful. One of the best we've stayed at.

Summary: This home and property owner are truly special. Very clean and well maintained, great proximity to all the sights of Acadia and the region plus it sits on a pristine lake with lots of amenities. We had a wonderful time and experience.

Summary: Our family of 7 stayed for a week at Whispering Pines and it was wonderful. Gail is a wonderful host, she was readily available for any of our needs. The house is nicely equipped and the use of the kayaks was extremely fun for our whole family. Finally we enjoyed the fire pit too! Cannot say enough nice things. Highly recommend this home.

Summary: Everything was terrific - the house is lovely with a wonderful kitchen if you want to cook, and is located on a quiet part of a beautiful lake. Easy access to Acadia. Gail is a great host. Would love to stay here again.

Summary: This property was extremely clean and well-equipped. We had a wonderful week on the shore of Lucerne Lake. Gail is happy to assist in any request. Not only was the house well-equipped but the shore had kayaks, floats and lounge chairs. Just terrific!!

Summary: I thought the property was great. It was very comfortable for a family. liked the way the bedrooms and bathrooms were connected. The kitchen was great, it was well stocked so you had everything you needed to cook with. It was a very comortable. Gail the host was very nice. I would rent it again.

Summary: What a lovely spot in a gorgeous, cozy home well equipped for all of your needs. Gail is an incredibly warm, hospitable host who was highly responsive to any questions or needs we had. Would definitely stay here again. The lake is pristine -enjoyed hanging out on dock, swimming and fishing.
