Summary: The pool is huge! Very nice home and a quiet area. We stayed at the home all the time. No need to wonder around to the beach but it is an option with a pass provided by the owner. It was a relaxing time for our family. Wildlife is nice to see in the backyard. Thanks Johnathan

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jonathan was very accommodating and easy to work with. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding. There was also a big screened-in porch which was used to escape the bugs. Our favorite area, however, was the pool, which was incredible. I was a bit concerned when I read that it was unheated, but those concerns were unfounded because the temperature was perfect. As another reviewer mentioned, the house is exactly as described. If your family enjoys swimming in a big, beautiful pool in a peaceful setting and four bedrooms, this is the the house for you. We would definitely rent it again if the occasion arose.

Summary: We rented this house for three weeks in August and used the pool frequently. The pool was a good size and a pool cleaning service came one a week. The living room had a work area with three desks, power strips, comfortable desk chairs and ample natural light. This was very useful when working from home. Other amenities we enjoyed were the double garage, the sun porch, a gas grill on the patio and a Keurig coffee maker. The property is on a very quiet street which, as Manhattan residents, we very much appreciated. The property was clean and well maintained. It was accurately described in on the listing. It is very close to a beach in a State Park (the owner provided a windshield sticker) and is a short drive to the train station which provides a frequent service to New York and has ample free parking. Madison is a fairly small town but has some excellent restaurants (including one in a beachfront hotel) and various stores (including a supermarket). It was not necessary to drive to another town.

Summary: Great place to spend a few weeks with family and friends close to the Connecticut shoreline. Interior somewhat outdated however well maintained. All amenities as described. Beds a little to small for tall people. Pool is huge and clean. Conveniently located close to highways, stores, restaurants, etc. however perfectly quiet. Welcoming and very friendly owner. Madison is a lovely little New England town as you expect it to be.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this property, and even though it was unbelievably cold, the house was warm and cozy and we had a wonderful fire in the fireplace. The house was well stocked with everything we could possibly have needed for a late Christmas gathering and shopping was a breeze as the grocery store was so close. Summary: The description of this rental was completely accurate. We found the home to be exactly as advertised. It was the perfect spot for my family and we really enjoyed our stay there. I encountered a very minor issue during my stay which I emailed the owner about. The owner responded within a matter of minutes and provided a resolution that worked. I was very impressed with his responsiveness. I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in Madison CT.
