Waterfront cottage in beautiful Dorset,
Muskoka, Ontario Canada.
This lakefront cottage has 3 bedrooms inside the main cottage as well as a 4th bedroom in a separate bunkie. Also offering extra futons and pull-out sofa beds for extra guests.
IMPORTANT NOTE - PLEASE READ: This cottage is WATER-ACCESS ONLY.
RENTER WILL NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN BOAT (motorboat, canoe, etc) OR ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS: You can easily put your boat into the lake using the accessible boat launch at Marina located at Raven Lake Landing (see map in photos on this listing). The cottage is just a short 5 minute (less than 500 metres) boat ride from the Marina/Parking Lot/Landing. Renters may park their car/vehicle at the Marina Parking Lot/Landing.
ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS: PONTOON SHUTTLE: If you don't have your own boat, you will need to schedule and arrange with COTTAGE OWNER for a Pontoon Shuttle at the Raven Lake Marina. Shuttle time is 4pm on the day of your Arrival (check-in time is 4pm) and 11am on the day of your Departure (check-out time is 11am). Cost for the Pontoon Shuttle is $20 shuttle cash or eTransfer fee one-way for 1 trip includes all people, not per person.
Please note that the Pontoon Shuttle is ONLY available for the 2 travel options, the day of arrival and the day of departure, and NOT available at all during the rest of your stay. (4pm arrival/11am departure is VRBO policy).
Bring your own boat/jetskiis and go fishing, waterskiing, tubing on family-friendly lake, and visit local islands for swimming and beach.
Cottage is water access only for great privacy!
Cottage offers great fire pit for evening enjoyment. Bring your own firewood.
We have a sauna, wifi, television, docks for swimming and anything else you might wish for a family-friendly week/weekend of cottage fun.
Cottage is just 5 minutes drive from picturesque Dorset, Ontario Canada.
And within 30 minutes drive from great tourist attractions such as Algonquin Park, Huntsville, Bracebridge as well as Santa's Village, golf courses.
Our cottage has been in our family for 40 years. Our children grew up here and we have many family and friends who live on Raven Lake. The closest town Dorset is a great place to go shopping for souvenirs and dinner in the evening.

Summary: We enjoyed the cottage! Our host Sherri got in touch to ensure that we had a way to get to the cottage as it’s water access only. We arrived to a neat and tidy place. Swimming off the dock was enjoyed by our youngest who is 4 and our oldest at 17!! Fishing from the dock or picking any location on Ravens lake with either the row boat, canoe or kayak (all provided) was awesome for all of us! The lake is a good size to cruise in the boat and just explore and we also did some tubing. Very friendly people next door as well! Would return for future vacations!!

Summary: Wanted to get out of toronto for a few nights before the kids went back to school. Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .

Summary: We wanted a cosy spot to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 70th birthday. Sheri’s place was fantastic. Lots of bedrooms and space to spread out, well stocked kitchen, dishwasher was a bonus… sauna was fantastic during a few rainy afternoons. Being boat access only added to the fun. Great weekend in a beautiful spot.
