Positive: It has a great location, very quiet area, beautiful view of the fjord. If you like solitude then this is great. Also, the house is currently being renovated. The bathrooms look new and clean, everything in it is working properly. The owner was very kind offering wood for the heater/stove (there is also electric heating).
Negative: The house was lacking some (important) details that would have made the stay more convenient. For instance bed/reading lights, hooks and space for clothes in the bathroom, and although the kitchen has an oven, we could not use it because there was no oven dish. The bedroom could use some thorough cleaning as there are some pretty large dust webs in the corners. Furthermore, unfortunately, at the day of our arrival and also the day thereafter, we spent several hours waiting for roadworkers as the only road leading to and from the house was being asphalted. We were not informed about these works/partial closure before our arrival, but I think that we could and should have been, so communication could’ve been better. We have notified the rental organisation Novasol about this, but we’re still waiting for a reply.
