Lake and yard access is from the lower level of the house. There is a short flight of stairs down from the level yard to the gradually sloping sandy beach which is ideal for children.
There is a 80-foot aluminum dock with an L shape at the end and boat bumper rails and lots of cleats for DAYTIME tie up while people are in attendance at the property. There is a mooring buoy for overnight boat mooring or for when leaving the property.
The house has four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, with two separate living room areas - over approximately 2,500 square feet. With one King bed and three queen beds, this three level lakefront vacation home. There is a nice foamy available to sleep kids separately in a bedroom if you wish.
The main floor is level walk-in from the garage and is a great room concept with a well equipped kitchen, living room and dining room and a powder room bath. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and gas range.
The upper floor hosts the master bedroom with King Bed and large ensuite bathroom as well as two bedrooms with queen beds that share an ensuite bathroom.
Now for both summer and winter rentals we do provide full bedding linens and bath towels for the number of guests specified.
The lower level is walk-out to the lakeside yard and has a large living room with leather couches, 55 inch TV and high-quality stereo and the 4th bedroom with full 4-piece bathroom located just outside the door to the bedroom. On this level there is an additional efficiency kitchen including a full size second fridge and countertop - ideal for making your lakeside cocktails. The second fridge is ideal for extra food and beverage storage for our groups.
We generally allow a maximum of six adults (older than 18) or four adults and up to four children (younger that 18). We can make some exceptions for the appropriate type of mature groups to allow 8 adults. It is great spot for three couples (or with permission for appropriate groups four couples) or two small families.
The home could accommodate more, but we do not generally allow groups larger than eight and prefer a maximum of six adults. We do not allow any type of events nor large numbers of additional visitors.
The house as two 55 inch TV's, although we don't know why anyone would watch TV in Penticton in the summer. A high quality stereo with JBL tower speakers is located in the lower living room and there is a compact stere in the main-floor great room. Both Stereos have Ipod/Iphone connection capability.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay this time as we had during prior stays. Views from the lakeside living room both upstairs and downstairs are excellent. The house is nicely furnished with leather couches and comfy beds.ย  The Kitchen is fully equipped and the second fridge in the summer kitchen downstairs was great for beverages and extra food storage. The sand beach is awesome for summer hanging out and the water is clean and clear. Good golf and many of the best wineries are all close! We will return when we have a chance.ย  ย ย ย ย

Summary: Our stay at the Skaha Lakefront House was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of Skaha Lake right from the back patio. The house itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. With four bedrooms, it comfortably accommodated our family, providing both privacy and common areas to gather and relax. We brought our boat, and the private dock made access to the lake incredibly easy. We spent countless hours out on the water, and it was the perfect setting for our kids to enjoy swimming and boating. Inside, the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the open-concept living area made it easy to enjoy meals together and create lasting memories. The thoughtful design and attention to detail throughout the home added to our comfort and enjoyment. The location couldnโ€™t be better, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Penticton, offering a private escape while still being close to Pentictonโ€™s amenities. The host provided helpful information that made our stay even more enjoyable, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a fun-filled lakeside vacation, this house has it all. We can't wait to return next year!

Summary: The house was just ok but is located on a very busy road. So there is constant traffic noise. You are also taking your life in your hands getting into and out off the driveway. There are also a book of house rules that you must follow or the owner threatens to keep the damage deposit.

Summary: We had a family reunion with cousins from UK over here for a wedding. My family hubby, 1 brother, 1 sister and hubby and our daughter stayed here for 4 days. It was beautiful and had everything anyone would need. It was lovely and clean, beds were comfy and lots of room. A great deck area outside overlooking the lake. Ernie was very good at communicating things to me and left lists of places to see, places to eat and info on wineries in area. We would definitely rent this again for another visit.
