Summary: Hervé was an extremely good host who made us feel welcome. Many thanks, Hervé. The property is well laid out and comfortable. We loved the hot tub and the proximity to Belgium. We hadn't planned to, but traveled there several times. It's a great base for traveling to sites relating to WW1,as well as cities such as Lille and Ghent, which are both well worth visiting. Overall, we would highly recommend it.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay with Herve in the Old Forge in Comines. The property has been done up really nicely, full of authentic, quirky details, with the hanging chairs being a real favourite and the hot tub providing a great way to relax at the end of a long day sightseeing. Location wise Comines is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas and even the beach is easy to get to within an hour. We also couldn't have asked for a better host in Herve, who made us feel welcome even before we got there and was available if needed. Thanks for a lovely stay.
