In the middle of the forest in a clearing, approx. 1.6 km from the road, is the listed "Forsthaus Halbemark", above the historic spa and health center. Wellness town Bad Sooden-Allendorf.
The lovely half-timbered town on the Werra is known for its salt and brine thermal baths, its imposing graduation tower and well-marked bike, hiking and riding trails. Very good shopping opportunities can be reached by car in 5 minutes, and the gastronomic offers leave nothing to be desired.
Our cozy, fully furnished holiday home is ideal for children and also welcomes dogs.
We also have space for 2 guest horses in our stables.
The spacious living / dining room opens onto the garden terrace with a barbecue area.

Two spacious bedrooms, a double and a twin room, are on the upper floor, followed by a 45 sqm terrace. From there you have a wonderful view of the forest.

There is a fitted kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine and kettle, as well as all the usual kitchen utensils.

Summary: I really like this place, we came in winter and it snowed, winter wonderland. However beware to have a 4 x 4 in the winter or more than likely you will get stuck in those hills, just like we did. I would consider this a farmhouse/hunting lodge, looks like a perfect place to go hunting or just foraging in the forest. we will definitely stay here again, if we had a 4 x 4 :-). You will be fine in summer, it’s just the snow that could be a problem.
