Gorgeous cedar lodge located on the Hidden Valley Resort. This mountain retreat offers all the amenities and privacy needed for a getaway any time of year. The backyard borders Forbes State Forest and the home sits across the street from the slopes. The large back deck features a deck fire pit (not available in winter) and grill. There’s also a large fire ring in the woods to relax with friends and family. The leaves are beautiful in the autumn and there’s plenty of opportunity for exploring with access to several state parks and forests nearby. Parking available with a private driveway.
The ground level begins with a large entry featuring a log bench and hooks for skis and jackets. It leads you to the first bedroom with a full bed, the main living area with a large flat screen Roku TV and bar with four barstools. From there, you take a step up to the dining area with a TV, kitchen and second living area with a half bath. Upstairs gives access to the master bedroom with a queen bed, master bath with a walk-in shower, third bedroom with two full beds and the fourth bedroom with another queen bed and crib. All upstairs bedrooms feature a large flat screen Roku TV. There’s also a second full bathroom upstairs with a tub and a pull-out chair with another twin size bed. The home also features a whole home sound system.

Summary: This place was absolutely beautiful! Very spacious and very clean! Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service but the owners were accommodated with this issue. The house is only a few minutes away from seven springs. Would recommend staying here as I would also stay here again. :)

Summary: Picked this place for a quick girls getaway. From the moment we walked in, we couldn’t stop saying how nice it was in there! So cozy, so clean. Decorated absolutely beautiful!! Only downfalls were the cold windy rainy weather that kept us indoors the whole time and the hot tub not working :( We would 100% be back… actually wish we booked it for longer!

Summary: Cozy cabin in a really nice area. One negative I have is that there is a camera inside the house that seems to be active. Also they have winter sheets on the beds which can keep you too hot in the summer.

Summary: What a great place to stay! It far surpasses the pictures, which are fine, but they don't fully capture how warm and comfortable the home is. There are interesting decorative touches throughout too. Two of our sons and families came for a weekend, and the grandchildren kept pointing out more of those touches as they noticed them! The home is spacious too, with a wonderful kitchen, a large dining table, and two relaxing seating areas...and the hot tub under the stars is a bonus! All in all, a wonderful place and location! We would gladly return for a second visit!

Summary: We celebrated my husband and son’s birthday and in addition to the 7 of us that stayed, we had 3 family members that stopped by to celebrate. There was ample space for everyone and with a separate living room and family room, the kids were able to play without being in the adults’ conversations. Those of us that stayed at the house found the bedrooms to be very comfortable. The entire house was incredibly clean, yet inviting. After a full day of skiing we simply skied up across the street and walked over to the house for the evening! The next morning we skied down to the ticket office and continued the fun! While we enjoyed relaxing by the fire and cooking several meals in the amply stocked kitchen, we did nothing take the time to enjoy the hot tub as we were all too exhausted after our time on the slopes. The 20-something group is already planning next year’s visit and building in another day so we have time for the hot tub and family board games! We truly appreciate your hospitality.
