Positive: The location was excellent. It was on Rue Montorguiel which had lots of restaurants and pastry shops. The building itself was between a Starbucks and McDonalds. There was a subway stop right outside the door (Sentier), and a major station (train and subway) about a 10 minute walk away (Chatelet-Les Halles). The apartment though on the small side was fully functional, did not seem tight and was exactly as pictured in the photos. The bed folded down from the wall (Murphy bed), but was very comfortable. It had a functioning washer and dryer that we used often. Truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment.
Negative: It was on the 3rd floor and building has no elevators. Hard time getting luggage up and down, but doable. Despite this, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Positive: Despite being very small, the flat has been recently refurbished and it´s well equipped, making it a great place for a short stay. - Climbing 3 floors in an old building might be difficult for some people (particularly with big luggage) but the flat´s location is worth the effort! Just a block away rue des Petit Carreaux turns into the bustling – and charming! - rue Montorgueil with its shops, cafés and restaurants! There is a tube station (Sentier – line 3) right in front of the building and the main station Chatelet-Les Hales is a very short walk away. - Having a washing AND drying machine was a plus. It was also great to confirm that there is an electric oven (not shown in pictures because it´s inside the cupboard above the microwave oven!). - Despite being a foldable bed, the mattress is new and quite comfortable.
Negative: Instructions for check-in were incomplete. Fortunately, we could contact the hosts quite easily, since we arrived during the period they are available. - There is very little storage (most shelves are full of (ugly) decorative items) and not much space for luggage once the bed is pulled down. - A couple of extra pillows would be a good improvement. - No air conditioning might mean the flat could be very hot in summer?

Positive: The location was wonderful. We could walk to the Louvre and there were lots of restaurants and mini supermarkets close at hand. We appreciated the combo washer and dryer since we are traveling long term.
Negative: We found that the first door and then the gate and then the apartment door all having different access codes was challenging. At first we were confused but finally figured it out. Doing the four flights of stairs was doable but tiring and the lights flicked off and sometimes we were not near the light switch so we had to use the flashlight on our phone
