Positive: The house was clean and the pool was nice. There were lots of beach chairs, coolers, games and some water toys at the property. There were plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, and pantry space.

Negative: Fair warning... Do not rent here in the summertime and expect the back bedrooms to be cool. The house has central air, but it does not work well. There is a window unit in the kitchen that has to run the entire time for the front part of the house to be cool. There are ceiling fans in every room and extra standalone fans. Ella with Vacasa was WONDERFUL and very responsive about the air issue. Unfortunately, after sending someone out to check on it, there wasn't much that they could do to rectify the issue. The only other negative comment that I have is about the pool deck. It's a very large deck, but the wood is old and very splintery. The kids and adults got several splinters in their feet.

Positive: We loved the location of the house close to many stores/restaurants and the beach. We totally loved/enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was well stocked on pots/pans/ utensils you could possibly need to make food.

Negative: We actually would have liked a tv in more of the bedrooms other than just one. Possibly think about putting a screen door on the patio to make it easier to get out as the glass door was quite heavy/hard to open.

Summary: This was our family's first time in the Kitty Hawk area of Outer Banks and we loved it.
