Bella Vista is located on five-acres of equestrian property across from boutique vineyards yet close enough to the city to enjoy the best of both worlds. Nestled amongst large estate homes, you will find serenity in this 3000 sq ft vacation home with 4-bedrooms 3.5-baths, located near the top of Parrett Mountain. It is a perfect place to call home away from home.
The Location: This vacation home has amazing views and a private location yet it is conveniently located 30 minutes south of downtown Portland and 15 minutes north of the heart of the Willamette Valley Wine Country. This private estate home is situated in an exclusive area with magnificent views but only 10 minutes from a large grocery store and Costco. This up-scale vacation home is ideal for attending equestrian events and wine country events or for exploring other area attractions including Mount Hood, the Beautiful Oregon Coast, and the famous Multnomah Falls.
The Property: This equestrian property is recently updated with beautiful amenities including slab granite and custom furnishings. The home is perfect for family and multi-family vacations, corporate retreats, small weddings, family reunions, and other special occasions. Upon arriving you are welcomed by the stunning views, in which to enjoy the fresh clean air and serenity of the area.
The Home: Bella Vista boasts in comfort. The main area is central for gathering the group or super relaxing to dive into a good book. The main attraction is the deck which over looks the riding arena and serene views including two vineyards and a pond. Every room has a view! Up a short flight of stairs you will find the master with a memory foam King bed with a large tile shower, the second bedroom is also a memory foam Queen bed, and the third bedroom upstairs has two twin beds. Also located on this level is another beautifully remodeled full bathroom with a nice tub for soaking. At the far end of the home is yet another memory foam Queen bedroom and full bathroom overlooking the garden area.
The Amenities: Hiking trails out the back door, more hiking nearby and bring your bikes for your touring pleasure. We can arrange for private wine tours, a chef to cook your meals and make all your restaurant reservations. We have beautiful stables for you to view the horses.

Summary: We could not be happier with our choice of Bella Vista. The setting is beautiful. The house is large, beautiful and immaculate. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for both our families. Barbara was wonderful to work with, so kind and welcoming. The home is centrally located, about 1 1/2 hours from Mt. Hood to the East and 1 1/2 hours from the coast to the West. There is much to see and do, from hiking to enjoying the many wineries in the area. We only wish we could have fit more into our itinerary. We all highly recommend Bella Vista.

Summary: This beautiful and relaxing home is so conveniently located to so many great wineries! The back deck looks out onto the wonderfully maintained horse property where the equine residents contentedly graze in their white railed paddocks. To top it all off, Barbara is an amazing hostess! Not only is the home spotless, but she provided wonderful suggestions where we could experience sooner top notch wine and awesome views just a few minutes down the road. We had a great time! If you're headed to the Willamette Valley, you can't beat this vacation spot!

Summary: This property is stunning. The home was beautifully decorated, spacious, well-stocked with every thing we needed, immaculate - I simply cannot say enough about how perfect it was. Our family has stayed in 9 HomeAway properties and all have been very nice but Bella Vista exceeded them all. Every morning we had coffee on the back deck and looked out over beautiful hills, horses in the pasture and listened to the birds chirping away. The location is perfect if you want to visit wineries, hike the many beautiful trails, or go to the coast. Barbara was the most gracious host ever and, if you're lucky, you'll be able to enjoy the company of her sweet dog Bowie :-) On the way to the airport we planned our next trip to Bella Vista! You will love your stay at this outstanding property.

Summary: Barbara's place is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds with thick luxurious linen and towels. We gathered here for 5 nights to celebrate a family member's master degree and also as a mini family reunion. Bella Vista is perfect for our gathering. The outdoor space is very inviting. Everyone enjoyed visiting us and for those of us who were lucky enough to stay at the house, it was awesome. Feeding the chickens was our group's highlights each day. I would highly recommend you staying at Bella Vista. Tip for larger group staying more than 3 nights - Bring extra dishwasher pods, paper towels and tall kitchen trash bags OR buy extra when you grocery shop. We ran out one evening and Barbara was very kind to let us have couple pods of her own so we don't have to go back to the store that night and still have clean dishes in the morning :-)

Summary: Great location. Old friends meeting to go wine tasting, cook dinner at the house and enjoy each other. Beautiful property. Barbara was so nice and responsive to our requests. Great place to relax and close to dining and wineries or mountain biking which part of our group enjoyed.

Summary: My family and I recently enjoyed a stay at Bella Vista. The house was perfect for our group; clean and spacious with a spectacular view. Barbara was very helpful sharing local spots for groceries, shopping, farmer's market, restaurants, wine tasting, and local activities. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We could not be happier and look forward to visiting again.

Summary: I booked this location for a leadership retreat for several singles and one couple. The room layout worked well. The location was perfect. An "out in the country" feel with amazing views yet close enough to both Portland, Beaverton, Sherwood or Newberg to get where we needed to go. The space was highly usable and the kitchen made group meal prep easy. We received a warm welcome from the owner, Barbara and were left to our own knowing she was within call if we needed anything. I highly recommend this location.

Summary: Our group of eight came together from Seal Beach, CA, San Diego, CA, Maryland and New Jersey. It is not easy to find accommodations of four or more bedrooms. Bella Vista was the exception with two properties listed, one with four bedrooms and one with six. A quick 25 minute drive from Portland International Airport and we arrived anticipating a nice home. Bella Vista is a whole lot more. We had not vacationed in Oregon before. What we experienced far exceeded our expectations. Bella Vista reads well in its descriptive. In real life its far more beautiful. Our group - Cohen's, Rullo's, Frey's and Massucci's enjoyed ourselves each day of our visit. We enjoyed wine tours, terrific restaurants even a trip to the coast. On the weekend we arrived we visited Portland to shop at the Saturday Farmers Market and were thrilled to find ourselves in the middle of the Rose Parade downtown. A short drive from downtown and we were able to witness the beauty and awe of Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. The property description was spot on accurate. We remarked how well maintained and spotless the accommodations were. The surrounding landscapes were spectacular. Oregon is a state of immense beauty and 'green' vistas. Bella Vista has it all. The home, the guest house, the stables - all remarkable. But the landscaping was far above that. Lawns, pastures and hanging garden pieces all pristine. The house is spacious, all the bedrooms lovely and tasteful. The bedrooms were designer furnished and all the beds comfortable. I am a great cook and was impressed by how well laid out and equipped the kitchen is. I loved cooking for our group of eight there. The property owner responded within hours to all inquiries and questions. In addition, the property owner stopped by on our arrival date to welcome us. Bella Vista is ideally situated for daily trips, quick restaurant visits, great supermarkets and of course stellar vineyards. Our group of cousins is looking forward to coming back to Bella Vista at a future time. We highly recommend this property for a vacation getaway.
