OUTDOOR LIVING: In-ground pool with pool house. Chairs, deck, seating. Basketball hoop, corn hole, ladder ball, spike ball, kan jam, six acres of land for privacy and play.

Summary: We stayed here for a quick weekend get-together with my husband's siblings and our kids/families. It was such a great experience. Staying in this spacious home was delightful and everyone raved about this property from the moment we walked in. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The bathrooms were clean and plentiful. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The pool was super clean and the location allowed for the sound system in the pool house to create such a fun atmosphere! We spent our evenings outside under the party lights on the deck and enjoyed the cornhole set that was available. We felt so welcomed at this property and host went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our time here. We have stayed at several properties through the years and this one was hands down the best experience. There was great communication with the host even before our reservation request was accepted and as we prepared for our trip and questions arose, he was quick to respond. Host was very attentive and easy to work with throughout the entire process, even when we had questions during our stay, never made us feel as though we were a bother for asking. (Just as a note to future guests--because of the size of our group, one of our kids stayed on a full-size blow-up mattress that we brought with us. The bedroom we were in had space to accommodate it.) We were so impressed with this property and considered it worth the 4.5-hour drive to get there!!

Summary: I booked Craig's property for my entire immediate family to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The place was perfectly spacious to accomodate our group of 11 people. Craig met us upon our arrival to give us a tour of the house and help answer any questions we had. He's a friendly and helpful host- wanted us all to enjoy our stay to the fullest. The big couch in the living room was perfect for us all to gather and play some Switch. The basement was blocked off because of construction (which explained why we didn't see many pictures of it in the listing) but even without that space there was plenty of room for us all! The beds were comfortable and it was so nice that all but one of the bedrooms had their own bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the supplies we needed to cook for 11 people (tons of pots, pans, and utensils). There's a Walmart just 10 minutes away if you need any last minute supplies. The town of Emporia provides a couple options for entertainment- we loved eating at Radius Brewing and played at a few of the local disc golfing courses. The pool was one of the many highlights of our trip. My notes for future renters- bring sandals to get down to the pool (the deck gets a little hot in the high heat of summer), pack a cooler to keep your pool side drinks cold (I thought there was a ice box in the pool house but was mistaken), and be sure to bring your own pool floaties for optimal enjoyment. EVERYONE in our group loved staying here!

Summary: Spent a fabulous 4 days with our family which included 2 grandchildren (1 and 3) in my son's family and my daughter and significant other. Wanted a place to spend time and just be together. The property was perfect. Drive was around 4 hours for each family. To be on an isolated property for us to do as we wished when we wanted to was exactly what I was looking for when I stumbled on this property. We spent alot of time in the pool and around the dining room table sharing a meal and playing games. Sitting on the porch watching the sunsets on the nights with no clouds was amazing, even treated to a double rainbow our last night there. The beds were so comfortable. The master shower was wonderful. Tubs in other rooms for bath time. Craig was so very welcoming and helpful on our arrival and even shared area events that we might be interested in that were in nearby towns. Appreciated all of the children's utensils/plates and cups. Emporia was a short drive for anything we needed - including Sonic ice! The Vault meat and cheese shop was beyond amazing and the Fanestil Meat market was the perfect place to go for food to grill. The Sweet Granada had so many treats for snacking and sharing with delicious fudge and other treats. Amanda's Bakery had an ultimate brownie that we enjoyed through out the stay as we could not just purchase 1. We enjoyed our time for connecting and spending quality time together. Many happy memories were made here and would love to return.

Summary: Everything about this property is fantastic! The owners are extremely accommodating and it is obvious that hospitality is something they're passionate about. We had a large group of people to enjoy this property's many amenities, and the owners did their upmost to insure that we had a comfortable and stress-free stay. Everything worked as it should, and was immaculately clean. The pool was refreshing and big, easily accommodating our larger group. There was plenty of pool toys, towels, and games. Like the pool, the kitchen was spacious and well equipped. This made it easy to cook, even for a large group of people. The bedrooms were luxurious, most with their own en suite bathrooms, a huge bonus when hosting friends and family. The property itself is large and in a quiet, beautiful location. Unlike many VRBOs I've stayed at, this property was isolated enough that celebrations could go well into the evening hours without concern for breaking any neighborhood noise ordinances. Overall, this property provided a splendid experience that has given myself and my group many happy memories that'll last a lifetime. It was definitely worth every penny. If anyone reading this is hesitant about this property, please, don't be. Book it! There will be no regrets.

Summary: For our family it was the perfect location and property size. Five bedrooms, four of the five have private bathrooms. The pool is 9 feet deep at one end with a diving board. There were inflatables, pool rings, a basketball hoop. The pool area was perfect for our age of kids. Craig Doty welcomes you into the property on check in day. He reviews the pool rules, gives extra instructions regarding the property and answers any questions of concern. He reflects his passion for creating family vacation memories for his guests. This is an excellent property, spacious indoor and outdoor seating, pool area, grassy areas, plenty of space for multiple vehicles, secluded private property with easy access from the interstate.
