Summary: We all definitely enjoyed our stay. There was between 9-12 people and dogs and lots of space. The pictures don’t do the space justice. The cottage definitely needs some TLC but outside of some minor issues we had a beautiful week. The weather was beautiful as was the company. The lake is absolutely stunning and the clear night sky revealed endless stars.

Summary: Our family of 8 had an amazing week at this cottage! The caretaker was there when we arrived and went over all rules. Thank you, Glen. The decor is dated, but comfortable. The shower was wonderful once you figured out that cold was hot, and hot was cold. Also, the toilet seat was loose, but that was easy to deal with. There were enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space. The main room was magnificent! There is a wonderful selection of VHS movies and a VCR/DVD player. It was very nice that there was no WIFI or Cell service in the cottage. The sunrises were stunning! It was awesome to see the hummingbirds! The fire pit was very full of ashes, but we managed to have a couple of evening fires with S'mores and hot dogs. It was hot in August, but once September rolled around the nights got cool and made the Franklin stove a welcome amenity. We would definitely stay here again. Andreas & family

Summary: Lake is beautiful!! Very scenic and quiet. Property has the essentials, but the cottage photos need to be updated as the dock was definitely not as it was pictured.

Summary: The property is as listed, although we were pleasantly surprised that the common area was bigger than the picture. Cottage is rustic with very well used furniture, but comfortable. There are 5 small bedrooms plus the loft, so plenty of beds for everyone. Lots of fans for hot days, and the kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cups, etc. (the only exception was that I couldn't find any cookie sheets, so bring some if you will need them). Although there is no cable and cell reception is not strong, there are tons of VHS movies available to choose from. The dock is great, although their is only one dock for boats, not two like the picture shows. It was still plenty big enough for our 7 adults to sit at, with two tables and 8 chairs available. The lake itself is wonderful...clean, clear and quiet!! You can use the big rocks to walk right into the water and there are some patio stones in the water so you don't have to walk on the small rocks (but be careful because they get slippery) or use the ladder at the end of the dock. Neighbors are quiet as are most folks on the lake. Bass fishing was very good as well! There is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows at night with chairs and benches for everyone. Weather was great and a good time was had by all!
