Positive: I am usually very critical when it comes to accommodation, because I believe where you stay really matters on a holiday – and this apartment was SIMPLY PERFECT. The view is absolutely breathtaking, both day and night, and worth the stay on its own. The apartment is spotless, fully equipped with everything you might need (washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, iron, plenty of towels, even shower gel and all kitchen supplies). Everything works perfectly. The location is excellent, easily accessible even for people with reduced mobility, as the entrance is it’s on the ground floor, but the apartman is on the 1st floor. At night you can hear the lively atmosphere of the area, which we enjoyed, but it’s never disturbing. There’s even a restaurant below, yet no noise or smell comes through.Parrots were flying in front of the window on the palm trees. On top of that, the host was incredibly kind, always easy to reach and very quick to respond, which made everything even more comfortable. In short: flawless, fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I can confidently say this is the very best accommodation in Arrecife!

Positive: Picture postcard view with the vibe of an Italian lakeside village,but at a much lower cost. El Charco is one of our favourite destinations for a week's holiday. We hope to return in the near future to the Charco Loft.It was fantastic!

Positive: We plan to return to the apartment in 2027 and see something of the island as well, that is how good the apartment was. I needed a change of scenery as I am waiting for a hip replacement, the apartment was excellent, people watching from the balcony and beautiful view of the harbour watching the tide rise and fall and small boats. Excellent air conditioning as it was very warm. 5 minutes walk to a small Dinos supermarket and restaurants right in front of the apartment (including 2 that did really good gluten free food as our daughter came out for a few days and is a coeliac). Morris, the owner, responded very quickly to all communications. The apartment was exceptionally clean, the bed and seating was very comfortable, no noise from outside once the sliding doors were shut.
Negative: No large glasses to have water by the bedside at night and to have a beer in the evening and not really any nice large mugs for tea (British tea drinkers) but that did not spoil the stay in any way (we bring our own non-breakable ones as this is a problem in most self-catering accommodation that we stay in)

Positive: The apartment has been decorated to a high standard and is spacious for 4 adults. The location was wonderful with lots of good restaurants and bars. It was perfectly accessible with a wheelchair.
Negative: A second sofa would have been good as we were 4 adults with one 2-seater. However, there were plenty of comfortable dining chairs. The water pressure was good in the ensuite and adequate but not great in the bathroom. We noticed that at low tide there was some smell from the drains but this didn't last long and wasn't too bad.
Summary: As good an apartment as we've ever stayed in through booking.com. We would definitely book again.

Positive: Excellent apartment near to restaurants, facilities, etc with a stunning view over the harbour. Spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, good wifi and all the facilities you could need for any length of stay. The host was very friendly with excellent and clear communications on how to gain access to the apartment. We were allowed to enter early and leave late due to our flight times, which was very much appreciated.
Negative: Can be a little noisy at times due to the proximity of restaurants and bars. Otherwise nothing.
