Summary: Coastal Winds appealed to us because of the privacy, safety, and security it offered, without taking away from beauty/comfort! Within a gated community, five stand alone suites decorated with island themes, fully equipped as a home away from home! ( decor is absolutely beautiful, layout of the suites allowed ample space). Fully equipped kitchens (I prepared daily meals for our group which was served at the common dining area by the pool). Mrs. Brenda Ferguson was patient, warm, and engaged with a level of authenticity that was refreshing for me. She provided all the information needed in great detail and was a warm and caring host! Although we had a rental, we also used the taxi services of Mr. Jacob. He was absolutely amazing! his energy and presence were truly one of the highlights of our trip. Mr. Jacob provided recommendations to resturants and locations that were spot on to our groups needs and style of vacationing. On our last day we booked a tour with him and marveled by his knowledge of and pride in his homeland. Seeing his homeland through his eyes was a marvelous experience. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a home away from home, allowing you to enjoy other parts of the islands but return to a picturesque oasis after exploring, Coastal Winds is definitely the location for you! In addition, if you are looking for transportation/ tour services with Bahamian warmth and flare Mr. Jacob provides it all! Thank you Ms. Brenda and Mr. Jacob!

Summary: We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property in Nassau! The home was exactly as described and provided ample space for our family of 11. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location was convenient to all the major attractions. We loved having the entire place to ourselves, which made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Brenda, our host, was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. She checked in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Nassau with your family, I highly recommend this property!

Summary: The Fergusons and their property were nothing short of amazing. Leading up to our stay Mrs. Brenda kept constant communication to assure everything ran smoothly for our arrival and stay, including helping us get transportation to and from the airport. We had 16 people so we rented 4 of the suites and had the villa to ourselves. We bought groceries and cooked breakfast and dinner every night during our 6 night stay. They have everything you need to cook, clean and grill. Just have to buy the food and seasonings. Coastal Winds is a bit of ways away from the main attractions and beaches, so I would advise that you rent a car. Do not be afraid of them driving on the left side, it’s super easy and will save you a ton of money. We will definitely be returning and the only place we can think about staying aside from a resort is this Coastal Winds property. It has everything you may need.

Summary: Wow! Where to begin…Ms. Brenda was the absolute perfect host. We were a family of 7 on a spring break getaway. From the moment we stepped foot on property, we knew it was gong to be a fabulous week. Everything was so well taken care of all week long. The pool was cleaned 3 different days and the grounds were cleaned daily by Ms. Rose. We used 4 of the rooms for our group and they were perfectly stocked with all the essentials. If there was any issues whatsoever, Ms. Brenda was so quick to react, and they were resolved before we knew it. We felt like we became part of their family. We had the luxury of being there during the Ferguson’s anniversary as well as the day that their grandbaby was born. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great stay away from all the hustle and bustle. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!

Summary: We had so much fun! Everyone in the property was so nice! Very clean and hanging around the tiki bar at night was great. Being able to be in our own space for sleeping was a definite bonus too. We will be back!

Summary: We had a wonderful experience at the lovely Coastal Winds property. We, three couples, rented three of the suites, (the others were left empty so we could have the place to ourselves), which were exactly as pictured: clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Also as pictured were the gorgeous grounds, from the sparkling pool and native flowers and plants to the tiki hut that was perfect for dining and playing games together. The host, Brenda, was absolutely the sweetest person. She anticipated some of our needs and accommodated them and was available to provide information and products beyond what were already in the suites. Her genuine kindness and attentive care was the best I've ever experienced from a host. As noted in the description, this property is located away from downtown, the cruise port, and the beaches, tucked away in a gated, private community. We rented a vehicle, so we were able to drive to everything we wanted to see and do with no problem. We recommend this beautiful listing for friends or families who want to experience relaxing downtime in stunning surroundings with access to nearby activities for the ultimate Bahamas vacation.

Summary: We booked all 5 Coastal Winds apartments for 2 weeks as we were visiting from the UK to connect with family living in Nassau. As a group of 12, including 5 children, the complex couldn't have been a more perfect place for us to stay. The apartments were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cool thanks to great air-con, and had everything we needed to cook a few simple meals throughout the stay. But it was the outside area that absolutely made it for us. The children barely left the pool, and the Tiki bar and gazebo area allowed us to eat and drink communally every day, as well as relax and watch the kids in the pool in the evenings. We had a family bbq using the huge grill, and loved the outside sound system and TV's for music and entertainment. There is a fully equipped laundry room, and Rose was there each week-day to help us with laundry, and keeping the whole space beautifully clean and tidy for us. Brenda was a friendly, kind and attentive host. I cannot fault her at all. She felt like family by the end of the stay as she made us feel so welcome, and checked on us regularly to make sure we were happy. We had hire cars, but when we needed a taxi she immediately booked Mr Jacob for us, who was very friendly and professional. Coastal Winds is situated in a gated community about 20 mins from the busy centre of Nassau. The gate is secured 24/7, and that added to our relaxation when we were on site. I can't imagine staying anywhere better on New Providence.
