5 Bedroom Place in New Ulm, Cat Spring

Relax with the whole family in 36 acres one hour west of Houston, 30 minutes from Round Top. Main home has 3 BR and 2-1/2 baths. Huge central area with kitchen, formal dining, family room, wonderful bar, shuffle board, pinball, jukeboxes. Freshly built guest house has 2 BR, 2 baths, small kitchen, large tv with high-end reclining theater seats. Hiking trails, stocked pond, outdoor kitchen and sitting area. Beautiful swimming pool. Outstanding views
The space
This is a 36 acre ranch that is truly "heaven on earth". Wonderful serene views, with over a quarter mile of paved roads , stocked two-acre pond, 3 additional smaller ponds, wonderful hiking in the woods. Great location to watch the stars in a clear night. Ranch is being developed as a wild-life preserve. Plenty of birds, deer, armadillos. Beautiful rolling hills.
Guest access
There is enough parking for at least 10 vehicles. 3 car garage is fully occupied and not available to the guests. A hardware store (which includes a grocery section) is within 10 minutes of the property. Does not open on Sunday. Medical services available in Belleville, a 30 minute drive.
Other things to note
Secure access to property with electric gate. Home has a full security system (Ring). Motor home usually parked next to the main house but not available to guests. If hiking in the woods, bring some boots as there is a possibility of running into a snake (this is Texas after all).

Summary: This was an absolutely wonderful stay! We frequent VRBO rentals, but this is definitely one of our all-time top enjoyable stays! Their furnishings and added accommodations, combined with the "fun stuff" and their AMAZING hospitality take this beautiful property to a whole new level of awesomeness!!! You will enjoy the beautiful scenery, the refreshing breeze that is almost always there, the accommodations, and even more so the kindness of the owners. Very, very welcoming and helped us make some cherished memories on this vacation with our grandbabies & their friends!

Summary: My family and I enjoyed every minute at Serendipity Ranch! There were so many activities to do and we kept the kids busy the entire time! We enjoyed the pool and lake. Summary: Amazing property with the kindest owners. This lovely home can allow you relax and enjoy a quiet weekend with beautiful views, AND/OR fill your weekend away with fun activities without ever leaving the grounds! Property has a pool, pond activities, pinball, shuffleboard, LARGE music library, games and plenty of space. All the kids and adults had a wonderful time together, and we hope to return for another weekend some time. Owners left detailed instructions for everything we could possibly need but were also readily available if we had any questions. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Highly recommend!

Summary: This is a beautiful home that my family enjoyed for a 2 night stay for my sons wedding at The Vine. They have not stopped talking about how much fun they had swimming, playing pinball and shuffle board all while listening to the great tunes from the jute box. They felt very spoiled. Lol! If I’m completely honest, the pics do not do this place justice. It is far more grand than pics show. Thank you for opening your amazing home. It was a special weekend all around.
