Positive: Probably the most honest local accommodation i have been in the past year; I won't digress, just highlight the salient points: 1) It is really affordable, especially considering the tourism madness and exploitation sweeping Portugal at the moment. 2) The bed is really comfortable. 3) Centrally placed, it's within walking distance of anything you may want to visit. 4) You get that "vintange boutique" feeling in the room, it just feels cosy, familiar and comfortable without the need for fancy lighting or blazoned designer decor. 5) A microscopic bathroom, yet complete and ergonomically sound. 6) The host come from a tourism professional background, they know their stuff and will bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Positive: The location was OK - close to the centre, even thoguh thanks to the not well insulated widows, there was noise from the main road. Shared kitchen/room was nice.
Negative: We knew that the room isn't big, but the space could have been much better used. The only wardrobe doesn't have any shelves. Windows don't isolate noise very well, you have to lower the heavy blinds. Bathroom noise and light disturbs in the room if someone is sleeping. Bed is very uncomfortable with only one shared blanket.

Positive: Lovely rustic vibe. Great staff. Nice port location and easy access. Just no drinking water (probably used to this as Irish). All round very very good!
Negative: Lacking running drinking water (perhaps we are wrong!)

Positive: The history of how their apartments came into existence was nice. It is run by a family who is passionate about providing an unforgettable experience. There is a shared kitchen. We were in a suite so we had a personal bathroom/toilet, a mini fridge and a coffee machine. A table fan was provided. The bed was super comfy. The Muscat wine during our stay was appreciated. We enjoyed our stay. It was relaxing.
Negative: Nothing in particular. Everything was great!
