Summary: Aire de battage feels like an old family vacation house. It has a wonderful view of the St Tropez bay and the swimming pool is much larger than expected with a poolhouse with toilet. Wifi is super quick and we could even hook up our car for slow charging. Don’t expect St Tropez luxury but rather Cote d’Azur 40 years ago with a few modern additions. Patrick was very helpful over the mail and everything was well prepared. Don’t come in your supercar. The path is only accessible for cars with decent ground clearance.

Summary: Well equipped homely property in countryside with an excellent pool. The nearest village and town are delightful with bars, restaurants and shops.Easy travel to lovely beaches.

Summary: We had a wonderful week here. The house is quite old and down a bit of a bumpy track but is absolutely lovely with plenty of seating and eating areas for relaxing and a lovely pool. The garden is rustic with lavender, fig, walnut and plum trees and a lovely view down to the lights of St Tropez, which was beautiful at night. A peacock lives in the garden next door. The owner, Patrick was charming and helpful and explained the history of the house to us. We had a very relaxing week and the surrounding area is wonderful. St Tropez, Grimaud and Port Grimaud and the beach at la croix Valmer are all favourites of ours. La Garde Freinet is about a 10 minute drive away with a couple of boulangeries and small shop but there are plenty of large supermarches in the surrounding area. Would happily return.

Summary: The house is spacious and well equipped. There is a great sense of peace around the property, the only sounds coming from singing birds and of course the wild peacock, who greeted us on the first day! Our children (aged 8 & 6) loved playing in the large outside space and never once asked to watch TV! It's 5 min drive to the village, with plenty of walks & bike trails nearby and despite it's rural setting, the coast & St Tropez are 20 min way. We would love to return.

This house is really great, with a rural character, full of spirit and enough place for everyone - The overall condition of the house were very good, clean, as described. A modern kitchen and opportunities for barbecue to enjoy the french cousine. The swimmingpool is wonderful with a great sight to the nearby mountains. Summary: The house and it's beautiful surrounding gave us a warm welcome. Everything felt cosy and had a very special charme. Everything is made and crafted with love and good spirit. The quietness, the views over the landscapes, the animals, the flowers and the old oak tree are only a few things to mention, what makes the place so special and gives you time to rest and relax. The kids loved it to explore the nature enviroment around the house.The Swimming Pool is fantastic. You'll get well equipped and find all you need in the House and the Pool-House as well. La Garde Freinet is very close and its artistic charme is a good combination. I kew the area from my childhood and it brought back sweet memories- merci!!! we loved our stay and aire de battage merci bien & meilleurs voeux Patrick & Family nous retournons! Summary: Visiting France with 8 friends and found this great find close to one of my favorite villages..La Garde Freinet. The views were amazing and the house was rustic enough to give you the real provincial feel but with just the right amenities. We spent the first half of our trip in Paris and this was a great way to end our trip with the amazing views, privacy, pool, and comfortable home. Highly recommend this home and it's great location to so many beautiful parts of France!

Summary: It was the first time, that we ( 4 adult, one child) had this huge home in a quiet location with a beautiful views on other hills and bay close to Port Cogolin. Fully equipped house and pool house - the pool is very clean and has a nice view, too! Furniture and area is prepared for kids - including some toys and other stuff in the pool house. Our son prefered especially to play on the huge terrace under the very old and big tree! The are is good to have a exciting night-walk. In approx 20min the beach is reachable and the cliffs were perfect to climb and for having a walking tour! The kitches offeres everything which is needed and the rooms are decorated individual with antiques, very nice! We had a very nice contact to the owner and everything was prepared and cleaned bevor we arrived! Many thanks for you trust & greetings from Germany! - MF
