Positive: The location was great, and the facilities in the house were good. Enough plates, cups, cutlery, pots etc to cater for large family. Great size, plenty for kids to do. Easy access and close to many beaches and shopping areas.
Negative: The lack of attention to detail. We arrived and the property had been cleaned but it was some time ago. There were spiders & cockroaches throughout areas of the house. Spider webs and droppings were very apparent on windows and window sills. The back area at the washing line hadn't been looked at or cleaned in a very long time. The grass was overgrown. I was contacted to let me know the garden maintenance man would be around to cut the grass. He never came in the 3 weeks we stayed. A bit more attention to detail with regards to the outside area would have made it a much more pleasant stay.
Summary: Fab location, attention for detail needed.

Positive: Very practical for a large family. Lovely open plan with most bedrooms upstairs. Beds comfy. Place clean and spacious. Nice to have playing fields and park outside the back gate. Near beach walks and shops. I loved the blinds, but my kids kept waking up with the sun- they suggested adding curtains in the bedrooms! A table tennis table in the garage would be great! Washing machine broke and a new one was delivered the next day - fabulous service!
Negative: A key deposit box at the property would be better. We arrived Sunday arvo and it was a palava trying to get hold of the keys. More thought to basic kitchen equipment - eg no tin opener,no peeler, no large knives, not enough serving bowls /spoons, not enough crockery or good sized mugs and glasses. Had to go buy coat hangers too. New toilet seat needed in ensuite - it doesn't fit and the lid keeps closing! Sofa doesn't comfortably serve 10 people. Not big enough, nor terribly comfortable. Needs a DVD player!

Positive: We provide our own breakfast. Location is good. We wish that we can just leave the keys in the house instead drive all the way to Nelson bay before drive back to Sydney.we will definitely be back. The shower in the ground floor water does not clear quickly always a puddle left behind. The toilet lid does not fully open up I already told the agent when I return the key.It would be good if you can provide a dish rack on the sink.
Negative: Fix the ground floor shower drainer, and the toilet lid.
Summary: Very Happy except the few problems as mention above. I will tell my friends and families to stay .
