This property is situated in a central park, in a vast nature reserve with lakes and waterways between Amsterdam and Utrecht. Amsterdam, with its rich culture and history, is only 30 km away. Utrecht, which was in the Middle Ages the most important and the richest city of the lowlands, is just 10 kilometers away. Nearby are also the patrician mansions along the Vecht, the castle of Belle van Zuilen and Muiderslot castle where the life of Floris V tragically came to an end. The castle was featured in many television and radio shows in Hilversum. Around the park there are tennis and golf courts, riding stables, playgrounds, numerous restaurants and cafes right on the lakes shores.
This panoramic Villa is unique in the Netherlands because of its comfort and design. It is located on the edge of the Loosdrechtse Plassen and is suitable for a maximum of 8 persons. Through a covered entrance you reach the living room with its closed veranda, fireplace and open-plan kitchen. The master bedroom has two single beds and has direct access to the luxurious bathroom. The bathroom can be accessed through the hall. There is also a second bathroom. Upstairs there is an extra toilet. The other two bedrooms (with balcony) can be reached via spiral staircase. The second bedroom has two single beds or a double bed, the third bedroom has two bunk beds. The large sun terrace is located in front of the veranda and can be reached through the sliding doors. The adjoining loggia can be reached through the terrace door. This panoramic Villa is equipped with all the comforts such as: a dishwasher, ceramic cooker, floor heating, double sun repelling glass, washing machine, tumble dryer and a telephone, fax and cable connection. The accommodation is just a few meters from the lakes of Loosdrecht. Some even have wide panoramic views of the water. This bungalow has its own landing in the harbor for your pleasure yacht (available at no extra cost).
Loosdrecht - the ultimate, idyllic water sports village - has many opportunities to make your holiday, or just a day out, a huge success. The 5 connected lakes (the 'Vuntusplas', the 'Stille Plas' and a clear drinking water lake) offer 3600 hectares of wonderful aquatic sports fun. Loosdrecht also has many other recreational possibilities - after all, it isn't called "Holland's Water Garden" for nothing! For the holidaymaker who is looking for a little peace and quiet, there is the unspoilt 'Vuntusplas'. Use of motorboats is restricted here. Row boats and canoes can be hired so you can discover the beautiful plants and birds or enjoy the 'Vuntus route'. At the numerous marinas around the lakes, there are various sailing and surfing schools for both young or old alike. Fishing, round trip excursions, shopping, tennis, mini-golf, arts, strolling or enjoying a concert - these are just some of the things that visitors to Loosdrecht can enjoy. There are also many culinary things to do. When the weather isn't good, you'll still find lots of things to do in the area: Indoor pool; indoor tennis and squash courts; riding schools; snooker and bowling center and even a place for kids' parties. Every weekend during the high season there's something special to do in Loosdrecht. Like the busy evening markets at the Oud Loosdrechtsedijk, with live music and the annual fair on the Nootweg in Nieuw Loosdrecht. The fairy tail-like gondola parade, every year on the 3rd Saturday in August, is really a fascinating spectacle on water. At the end of June there is a trip for small boats ("Rondje Loosdrecht"), complete with live music and snacks and drinks along the route.
