Positive: Central location to base yourself as you visit the south and central regions of Mauritius but you will need a car or scooter to get around. There was air conditioning, strong wifi, and hot water. Clean and comfortable bed. The owner was very kind, helpful, and responsive.

Negative: There were quite a few bugs and spiders that kept popping up during the stay and the location is very noisy. I’m a very heavy sleeper but barking dogs would wake me up and keep me up nightly- ear plugs were needed.

Positive: Well, the place was really upscale. Well furnished and equipped. My bedroom had its own bathroom ( there was HOT water ) There was ample living room space to relax, plus a dining area along with the kitchen well equipped for cooking. Afzal checked on me several times to make sure I was ok. He also arranged for transport to Port Louis for me. He was kind and attentive. I would definitely stay there again if I ever were in Mauritius again.

Negative: If I had to say anything, it would be the location. But Afzal took care of that and took me grocery shopping. So, I was able to get the foods I needed.
