Its beauty has provided the film location for several Hollywood films including John Cusack’s Hot Tub Time Machine and the Christmas film Santa Pups 2. It is also a tremendous place to stay in the summer and there is plenty to do, from mountain biking to zip-lining, from golf to fishing. At the rear of the property is a deck that overlooks the forest at the rear, complete with barbeque.

Summary: Our family takes an annual ski trip to a different mountain each year. This property was the best rental to date. Normally, we stay in ski-in/out but when I saw the amenities, we couldn't pass this property up. We arrived to find a very clean and cozy home. The pictures perfectly represent this property. Even the pool/steam/sauna area was very clean. All the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The amenities are fun for all ages. The gas starter in the fireplace provides an instant wood burning fire. Close proximity to the village. Bring snowshoes to explore the beautiful forest walking trails just down the road. The hosts are very gracious with reasonable rules and requests. I had a question and called the property management company, they were extremely kind and helpful. There is a drip coffee maker.

Summary: We stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights during the summer for a family getaway. Ages ranged from 14-75 and there was something for everyone to do here! We loved cooling off in the pool and relaxing in the sauna and steam shower. The game room with video games, billiards, pin ball, etc was amazing. Great space in the kitchen area to play board games. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The neighborhood was nice and and easy walk or bike ride to the resort. Only a few minutes drive to the town of Fernie for restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We had a great stay in Fernie! The house was better than we anticipated as far as activities and enough to everything to keep everyone busy. The games room, the pool (much bigger and deeper than we anticipated), the hot tub - we used everything available to us. On check-in we had 3 bears up on the back deck (they had come to to enjoy the BBQ leftovers from the previous visitors) but the house management sent someone over right away to straighten up. They did come and visit a second time up on the deck. We had a few other small issues as we got settled in on the first & second day but the management company handled everything quickly for us. The traditional beds in the rooms were all amazingly comfy and bedding was great. The 2 pull-outs were too uncomfortable to use (& we had planned on using them) so we purchased a couple of air beds from in town and used those instead. Plenty of towels and linens in the house - we did do a load per day of towels to keep stock up (I did bring laundry detergent which was good as there wasn't any on hand but I'm sure management would have brought some if we asked). We cooked all meals @ the house for our week's stay. The kitchen is definitely well-equipped and plenty of "things" but I found a few missing gaps in supplies and somethings that need replacing. The only thing we really wished we had was a second fridge in the home for extras. We will be back for sure, our family had a great time. Thanks Ian and management!

Summary: Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Sitting in the backyard under the covered deck, listening to the rain, surrounded by forest, was amazing. The pool is actually bigger than I expected and the sauna is top tier. The only “issues” were some small cleaning-related things - it appeared that a few sets of sheets hadn’t been washed.
