Summary: We stayed for the night before and after doing the "Tough Mudder". House is very comfortable with all the needed amentities. Comfortable beds, plenty of seating, well stocked kitchen items, beautiful deck with a nice view. Fire pit was great with plenty of wood provided. We would definitely stay here again if we were coming back to this area. You definitely need the SUV to conquer the hill! Thanks James and Darlene for sharing your home! Lisa

Summary: This cabin was absolutely perfect for my out of town bridal party and I to stay after rehearsal dinner Friday and to get around the next morning. The drive way is long and slightly intimidating and takes ~7 minutes from the main road to the actual cabin. Once up there though it's so worth it, beautiful views from the wrap around porch and no doubt secluded! Darlene had the cabin beautifully decorated in a woodland and owl theme. The cabin seems new and clean we felt completely comfortable here!! This place no joke has beds for 12! One room had a queen, one had a bunk bed on each side of the room, and one had two doubles(I think the size is correct). There is then another bunk in the living room area and a single bed. (I know it sounds like a funny set up but it works.) The living area is open with 3 rockers and recliners and2 large COMFY couches. There's a dining table with chairs for 6, and a mud room with an additional 2 tables and several stools. We took some amazing photos on the deck getting ready with my girls! Reserving this cabin is something I'm so glad we did, a much better option than getting ready in the hotel. This area didn't offer many options for lodging but I'm glad I we were able to find this gem! I will forever cherish the memories made in this cabin ! Thank you Jim and Darlene!!!

Summary: Had a bachelor party here for a friend. This cabin is set way back from the road on a mountain, on a dirt/stone road. It was really nice inside and big enough for a party of 8 guys. There was plenty of beds for everyone and we really enjoyed the large deck and the fire pit. It was the perfect escape from the world that we were looking for. I will look forward to the next time I am able to come back! Owner is also a really nice guy.
