Positive: Renovated very, very well... new furniture, tiles & all... fantastic views, easy access from 2 doors (upper street and lower street).. grocer & church nearby... parking spaces is a flight of stairs away.... village is beautiful, as if youin a fairy tail.. owners are great & helpful... it is a small place, however, has all you require... ideal for a couple... also with a young kid... also some complimentary drinks & shower / body items.. Well done & thanks Gino & Angela!

Negative: Nothing... all excellent!!... please put another mug cos there is one missing :) If you suffer from walking, knees, etc... or you're an elderly person.. pay attention.. Coronia village could be not ideal for you, cos of stairs, slopes and uphills... but that's a feature of the village... you know that.

Positive: It was very clean, spotless.

Negative: Access to the property at night was difficult for us. After arriving in Caronia we had trouble locating the apartment. Directions were given by host but were hard to follow on a iPhone. Ended up walking around to find apartment after getting frustrated driving our car in the narrow streets. Using the steps to the apartment requires great care and once inside, the internal staircase is very narrow. We decided to leave our suitcases in the car and just take a few items into the apartment. The more significant issue was running out of hot water while taking a shower. The small water heater was on an economy setting and this was grossly inadequate. My shower ended with cold water and my husband did not have a shower. The host was very apologetic and offered us a later check out to compensate for running out of hot water.

Summary: Disappointing stay due to difficulty accessing the apartment and running out of hot water.

Positive: Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location in a quaint traditional village, close to mountains and the beach. Easy to get to on a main Trainline and quick local bus. The apartment is clean with all amenities, done out to a high standard with good WiFi, smart tv etc Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back to Caronia

Positive: We stayed 3 nights here. The magic hilltopp city Caronia is fantastic. It's close to sea, close to railway station, walking distance to sea and 300 m below seal level. Most of the house have amazing view. From the room you can see the aeolian Islands, the morning sun and we saw the moon rising. Free parking. Newely renovated flat.
