spacious self-contained unit on ground floor (attached to owners' home) with basic kitchenette (microwave oven, toaster, electric jug and frying pan, small under bench sized fridge) and BBQ, en-suite bathroom, additional outdoor shower to hose off after ocean swimming and to rinse off your pet, sunny deck with sea views, your own front lawn .Quiet cul-de-sac.
A great getaway for couples.
K9 guests are also welcome with PRIOR approval only (property is un-fenced)
Street parking only in quiet cul de sac.
Please note that from the last weekend in October to 01 March, certain restrictions apply to public areas for dogs (dogs must be on leash at all times whenever leaving the property, and the southern end of the beach is 🚫 to dogs). There is however an Off leash exercise area 24/7 all year around on northern end of the beach.There are bush tracks you can walk to from the property and another beach accessible on foot only, with no dog restrictions. The Wentworth Valley a short drive away, is dog friendly,with well maintained tracks, pristine native bush and a beautiful waterfall. The Whangamata Mountain bike park is a 10mn drive away, also great for walking your best friend off leash, especially if it is too hot or raining.
Less than a 2 minute's walk to Onemana beach, 6kms north of Whangamata. Less than 3 hours' drive from Auckland.
Dogs allowed indoors but please use outside shower for rinsing off your pet. Please bring your own dog bedding. Dogs to remain off the couch.
Put your feet up,relax and enjoy the local sights and sounds of the seaside, the many tuis flying by or discover the numerous coastal walks we have locally.
Surf beach manned by surf lifesavers during peak summer times.
Explore nearby secluded beaches, some only accessible via bush track. maps provided in unit
Free use of public tennis courts on the reserve. Tennis rackets and boules supplied. Petanque court on reserve for public use.
Remember to wash and dry dishes before leaving ; please leave it as tidy as possible. No pungent cooking smells please, so that the next guests may also enjoy their stay.

Owner is a registered yoga teacher and offers classes on request for all levels. Outdoor yoga classes for all levels are offered throughout the summer.

Summary: Simple and tidy. No ocean view like it states but you can hear the ocean. I wouldnt reccomend if you have sensitive smell it did smell like dog. The bathroom light and fan cut out like there was a shortage but great water pressure. I also didnt like that we couldnt come and go at whatever time when adventuring, fishing ect we felt pushed for time needing to get back to the accommodation before 10pm.

Summary: I dont want to say how amazing my stay was as i want to go back Again and Again and i need it to b vacant. But the truth is, we loved the spot, hostess, facilities and the price, EVERYTHING. Summary: Awesome spot. Can eat on the deck and see the sea. Can hear the sea at night. Lovely walk down to the sea. Beautiful white Sandy beach with surf. Not far from Tairua which has the best crystal shop, bakery. Dog friendly town. And nice walk up the mountain. Lovely getaway spot and bonus to be able to bring our fur baby. Host was lovely and helpful. And even offered to look after our dog if we went somewhere where she couldn’t go. We loved it
