For the St. James and West Coast Holetown and Sunset Crest area, this is one of the best areas to stay in Barbados. GoldenView Condominiums is set on 5 acres of beautiful tropical gardens and there is a swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. At this Barbados vacation rental, you have access to an additional swimming pool on the beach at the Sunset Crest Beach Club. You also have immediate beach access from the main road. Choose this location as one of the top strategic locations VRBO Barbados location. You can walk everywhere and may not need a rental car. Our condo rental is situated on the top floor of a condo complex with amazing ocean and sunset views from the balcony. The property has private security, and elevators, and is in a quiet location. Absolutely NO Smoking, Vaping, or E-Cigarettes in the condo or complex. In addition, there is a reception area/lounge area.
About our condo...Internet and Wi-Fi are on the property - Channels available for US, Canada, UK and more. The rental space also has access to your private sun balcony. There is a coin-operated Laundromat on the 3rd floor. Amenities include air conditioning in the bedroom. All rooms have ceiling fans. However, because of the position of the apartment and its position on the top floor, you can achieve a thorough flow of air at nighttime if you leave the top window open in the bedroom or bathroom.
We are located close to both fine dining and fast-food restaurants. If you are looking for quiet and exciting nightlife and the best area to stay in Barbados to fit your budget. You are within walking distance of bars and nightclubs.
Daytime pursuits on the island include a leisurely stroll along the white sand beaches. For the more energetic, there are golf courses, as well as tennis and horseback riding. Water sports include diving (scuba diving in the Caribbean is like being in a huge tropical fish tank), water-skiing, para-sailing, and deep-sea fishing for barracuda, king fish, or the famous Barbadian flying fish. Summary: This was an extremely well-equipped apartment. The kitchen has everything you might need if you want to self-cater and there were nice touches like the availability of beach towels, snorkelling equipment and the complementary drinks left in the fridge on arrival. The view from the enclosed porch over the treetops down to the sea in the distance is beautiful. We also enjoyed the pool on the complex. It was never over-crowded and there were always sunbeds available. There is a pass with the accommodation for free entry to the beach club about 15 mins walk away. We only went once. It was quite crowded and we preferred the pool on the complex. Communication with Anita, who looks after the apartment, was easy via Whatsapp and she was there to greet us when we arrived. We really appreciated being able to check in a bit early and the late check-out on the last day. The only downside was that the apartment got very hot in the afternoon and evening, especially the living-room. There is an air-con unit in the bedroom (which is coin-operated - I Bajan dollar for 45 mins) but only fans in the other living areas, which did not really cool the apartment down. All in all, though, this was a very comfortable, reasonably-priced apartment in a good area, highly recommended for a pleasant stay,
