Entering the home on the main level, you will find gorgeous vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows with views of the water leading out to a large deck with plenty of outdoor seating and a propane gas firepit.
A beautiful very well equipped chef's kitchen with breakfast bar awaits your visit. The living area has a stunning gas fireplace with adjoining dining area. The King master bedroom is also on the main level with plenty of space, a 42" flat screen TV and adjacent full bath. Just upstairs you will find a loft sleeping area with 3 twin beds, perfect for the young ones. A Queen room and second full bath are also upstairs. The lower level offers a comfortable family room with second gas fireplace, game room with foosball table as well as a 70"flat screen smart TV, an additional full bath and laundry room. Outside enjoy the beautiful views of the lake from either of the two seating levels or from the dock area featuring a fun tiki bar equipped with mini-fridge and microwave, perfect for summer entertaining.

Summary: This is a beautiful house on a very quiet cove. Lovely view from two decks and the living room. It was cold while we were there, so we made use of the fireplaces. Huge kitchen with everything you might need- pans, pots, waffle maker, crock pot, etc. Helpfully labeled, too. The kayaks were great, and there was a nice ramp right there to make it easy getting in the water. Just perfect.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay last week! The house was clean upon arrival and check-in was easy. The rental agency who manages this location is excellent. We had a couple minor issues and Josie was quick to respond and texted follow ups as well. This house is far up the channel at marker 52 and is a 15 minute boat ride to Bridgewater Marina for reference. There is a small boat house and additional dock which we used to tie up our rental pontoon. The main dock is large and has a nice closet area to store floats, etc. The small mini fridge was helpful to have at the dock as well. Kitchen was well-equipped and the bedroom layouts were very nice and convenient. There is a boat launch within the neighborhood (keep bearing left when you leave the driveway and you’ll eventually find it)—this was helpful for our jet ski. We enjoyed our stay!

Summary: We had a wonderful relaxing week at SML at A Frame of Mind. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. The house is very well appointed and the location is convenient to stores, marinas, and restaurants. We will be back!

Summary: Such a beautiful location! We had a nice, quiet stay but I can see a festive party being happy here too. This house is packed with amenities, cookware and spices in the kitchen, etc. There’s no need to leave the property if you pack properly.

Summary: We went over the river and through the woods for Thanksgiving this year. We rented the house for a peaceful family gathering as the location is mid-way between Pittsburg, Atlanta, and our home in Eastern Virginia. Though the color was faded and the leaves crunched underfoot, the scenic view of the river, from the yard, decks (and there are two of them) and the pier is peaceful. It was quiet, well, until my son's dog realized his echo barked back. The inside of the house was designed for comfort and visibility to the natural wonder around you. I loved the big movie room in the basement and the Jacuzzi, according to my hubby and kids after their bike ride, was wonderful. The hosts provided a plethora of watercraft and fun stuff which made us wish it was warmer outside, and we had more time, so we could make use of it all. But I did get roasted by my kids at the foosball table. As usual, when spending time in a house, something came up but the realty company timely returned my call and reassured me that all was well. It was a delightful four days with family.

Summary: I love windows and A Frame of Mind has plenty of them! Enjoy lake views from the two story windows in the kitchen & livingroom as well as sliders out the basement level. Two stories of deck areas allowed for our family to enjoy more lake views outside. The cul de sac location makes it quiet and peaceful. The open kitchen, fully equipped, was fantastic for cooking while interacting with family. The loft bedroom is so cozy and perfect for our three girls while the boys took over the basement. Having our dog with us was an extra bonus - they even had dog bowls & treats. This host thought of everything! We used the kayaks and canoe to go exploring and then rented a speedboat and jet ski one day too. Dock is perfect for both activities. A Frame of Mind will put you in the right frame of mind to experience the serenity of SML and enjoy time with family and friends.
