Summary: We had a fantastic stay over Easter with our family of five (three teenagers). The house is pretty inside and out, with a farmhouse feel/furnishing and in the traditional timbered Norman style. Few houses nearby, and just outside the pretty village, so very peaceful, a haven for birdlife and plants. Built by the owners more than 50 years ago, it's full of charm, quirkiness, and has a wonderful and very large rambling garden that stretches down the hillside, packed with wild flowers and large cherry trees in blossom. The owners were super kind, showing us round and encouraging us to explore the gardens and make ourselves at home during the week, which we did. There is also a sunny terrace a little below the house with a fireplace we could cook over, so we had some nice evenings eating outside. There are pretty walks in the area, especially the bois du boeil (?? not sure of spelling), but it's also a nice walk to the sea from the house - about 40 minutes; just go down the path that runs alongside the garden and follow your nose from there. All in all I highly recommend.

Summary: Charming quirky property set in very quiet countryside Not suitable for children or anyone with mobility issues as the stairs are very steep Great location for honfleur and surrounding countryside Madame and her daughter were charming Would benefit from a WiFi upgrade as it was very poor and a DVD player would be a useful addition for the quiet evenings

Summary: Location and views are great. Interior is "brocante" with modern equipment. Twin beds are too small for two normal seized persons (120*190 cm and 120*185cm). Friendly host and quick service. We loved the remote feeling at the house and surroundings

Summary: Very spacious,welcoming owners,well equipped, peaceful pretty area but plenty to do with Honfleur a very short distance away,lovely harbour town, with plenty of bars and restaurants, museums,shops etc.

Summary: We spent our Easter-vacation in the lovely Norman House. It lies on a hill with a garden full of trees. It provides a wonderful view towards the sea with the harbour of La Havre in the background, very nice. The owners are a very friendly couple. House, Garden and Terrace provide lots of beautiful details (little statues etc.), we loved it. The water pressure it a bit low in there, which makes temperature regulation a bit tricky while showering. The house is equipped with a good heating, so even on colder days you don't miss a thing. Thanks again!

Summary: This house is a real gem! It is really beautifully located, perched on a steep slope, with a wonderful view of the harbor of Le Havre. We stayed here for a week and had an absolutely great time. The owners, mr and mrs Aubert, are a very friendly elderly couple. Unfortunately they only speak french, and we hardly do, but thanks to their patience we somehow succeeded in understanding one another. Mr. Aubert himself has renovated the house, and furnished it with care. The roomy house is filled with antique cupboards and brocante furniture. Mind your head on the stairs! The beds are a bit short and narrow, but then, that seems to be the case wherever we stay in France. The house is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden, with lots of steps and steep slopes, and is less suitable for very small children or disabled persons. Privacy is optimal! The owners live elsewhere. Due to all the green and some sheds, we didn't see or hear anything from the neighbours.
