The gite has been renovated by the owners and offers luxury accommodation for four people with two en suite bedrooms on the first floor. The ground floor has a sitting area, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and a separate dining area. There is parking beside the gite and a private patio at the rear with tables and chairs for dining out and enjoying the view over the countryside.The property is situated in a small town which has a bakery, butcher, pharmacy and general store so any requirements for your self catering holiday are close at hand. Supermarkets can be found within ten minutes driving time along with local markets and other facilities. There is a restaurant in the town and a beautiful chateau to be visited. The Loire valley has some of the most beautiful chateaux in France and is also very well known for the quality of the wines produced there. All of these are within a short drive from the property.

Summary: Lovely and quiet rural spot, very well kept, comfortable and decorated gîte. Ronnie and Frances were excellent hosts with plenty of suggestions for things to see, do and eat! Plenty to see and do in local area including walking/cycle routes, history and obviously Loire wines! We're unable to comment on local restaurants etc as we decided to avoid with the current pandemic. Wish we'd been able to stay for longer than 6 nights.

Summary: A delightful, stylish and very comfortable gite. Charming owners, couldn't be more helpful. Just wished we were there for more than our 2 nights. Location is great for touring around the Loire. Village is small but a lovely little supermarket and boulangerie.

Summary: This is a lovely, newly converted gite, comfortable, spacious and well equipped, with open views from the terrace across fields. Within easy striking distance of the Loire region, Angers, Saumur, Chinon, Poitiers, and its numerous Chateaux and vineyards. Great area for cycling around the neighbouring villages, mainly flat quiet roads. Some excellent restaurants nearby. Our hosts Ronnie and Frances were extremely helpful in giving us information and recommendations for the local area, and we really enjoyed our stay there and their friendly hospitality.
