Negative: I stayed at this hotel in Istanbul for 3 nights. The location right on the Bosphorus offers stunning views, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was acceptable but not memorable. However, the hotel did not feel like a five-star property!!! cleanliness and maintenance seemed below average, furnishings and decor appeared extremely dated, and English communication from some staff was limited specially at the restaurant, We never got it right!! . Another drawback is its isolation central sights require transportation, which adds time and cost. Given the price and star rating, I expected higher standards in upkeep and service. Finally With the strong star rating and glowing reviews, I expected more in terms of Value, cleanliness, upscale furnishings, and service standards. So it’s not to be repeated.
