Positive: We had a really nice stay at A-LifePenthouse! The space and peacefullness was a bliss to come back to after spending the day in bustling Tokyo. Comfortable beds and all the amenities we could ask for. And the location was superb right next to Shibuya crossing and the station, it made getting around Tokyo very easy. We would definitely come back!

Positive: Great location; beautifully appointed and clean. Also spacious for a large family to stay.

Negative: There was no mention of the walking up stairs to get to the fourth level, which was particularly difficult with 2 children, 4 heavy suitcases including a snowboard bag. It was difficult to warm the large living room space, so inevitably this remained cold whilst the upstairs area was warm. There were no wardrobes, so had to live ‘out of the suitcase’. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Positive: Spacious, high ceiling and well thought out design with space for drying jackets and clothes we don’t want in dryer.

Negative: Had to carry our luggage up 4 floors without a lift, and concerned abt fire risk being located above restaurants and bars.

Summary: Was a lovely space for the family. Felt like home while on holiday.

Negative: Would have been nice to know it was a 4 story walk up with no elevator since we had a lot of luggage but other than that the place was very nice, clean, comfortable and conveniently located near Shibuya Scramble Crossing. The host was also especially accommodating. Definitely would stay again (as long as I am not traveling with more than 7 bags).

Positive: It was very cozy, we really liked the decor. Also the space was really big, much bigger than we expected to find in Japan. As we are a family of 6, this was very comfortable for us. And finally, it was very well located.

Negative: It didn’t had an elevator.
