Summary: The room was adorable and met our needs. The pillows were a little thin but that’s an easy fix by bringing our own next time. Overall great stay. The property is SO cute with an onsite beer garden with a staircase that walks to and from. Right on main street. We will absolutely be back.

Summary: Lovely place in downtown Lyons. You will be staying in one of five spaces of the Lodge. There is no shades space. The place itself was quite nice. Clean and well kept, although it might need some upgrading on the structure. The bed was super comfy and the AC worked wonderfully.

Summary: Can't beat the location of this motel, right on the main road with great restaurants, attractions, etc. within walking distance. Perfect spot to begin acclimating for mountain trips. Bed was comfy and the host was very helpful with recommendations. Should be noted that some photos in the listing are of the rental house and some of the motel, so be sure you're booking the space you want.

Summary: Love this little spot! There is a kitchen and you can walk across the street and hear live music at night during the weekends. You can also walk to several restaurants for dinner. Owners are local folks from Colorado. Support a small business. They are really great guys. :)

Summary: The photos accompanying this listing are misleading. We were put in one of five very dated motel rooms. Our arrival instructions pointedly told us that the house in the lead photo is a private residence and we shouldn’t approach through that. Several other photos show rooms far nicer than the motel room. Perhaps you can book these nicer rooms, but don’t be mistaken in assuming that these are representative of the room we received.

Summary: We've stayed at A-Lodge several times while visiting family in Lyons. It is a very convenient location for us and we're glad for it. There are a few things that need tending to. We stayed in Unit 3 this time. All the electrical receptacles are worn out and won't hold the plug in. The receptacle in the bathroom didn't work at all because, I'm assuming, the GFI was tripped but the reset button was painted over so we were unable to use that receptacle. The shower control valve seems to be backwards. The H and C indicator are wrong. I understand it is an old facility but there should be a couple more electrical outlets. It would be nice to have a hook near the sink to hang the hand towel on. There are a lot of box elder bugs in the room. I'm not sure how to handle that but both the dead and live bugs in the room aren't pleasant. There are several maintenance issues that should be addressed. The window over the sink in the kitchen is filthy and the shelf where the AC apparently used to sit needs painted. The fire extinguisher bracket near the door for quick access was empty. We did see that there is a fire extinguisher in the room, under the counter. It would be nice to have a broom in the room. It's pretty easy to track in a lot of sand and dirt and unpleasant to walk in it barefooted. We do appreciate the nice bed and bedding and the thick towels in the bathroom. It is a quaint room that has obviously had much thought put into it. It could be a bit better. We'll be back for sure
