Summary: I have stayed in a lot of short term properties , but this was the best hands down. I and my wife really enjoyed kayaking ( and fishing) the Orange river and lake. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable , we will be back.

Summary: We had a great stay at this cozy Maine retreat. The location halfway between Machias and Lubec makes this home convenient. Also close to Campobello Island. We loved the views from the deck and sat around the outdoor fire several evenings. It was a disappointment that the new washer and dryer were not hooked up but that should be rectified before the next guests arrive. A few more Casserole dishes and a colander would be helpful. Bed was comfortable. Would stay again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time staying on this cabin. We were there for a week. We enjoyed visiting the local towns of Machias, Lubec, Eastport and Calais. We did a little fishing and hiking. We Enjoyed visiting the Quoddy Light and state park. We hiked from the light to the beach, it is a very difficult trail. Roots, steep inclines, deep muddy bogs, steep descents not for the faint of heart. However, fabulous views of the bay and rocky cliffs.The cabin is well appointed and comfortable. The host is easily contacted and helpful. The view from the cabin is unbelievable. We watched families of ducks, and geese swim on a cloudy, rainy day. Worth the long drive from Virginia.

Summary: My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend. The check-in was easy and this small home is beautiful! It sits right on the river and is equipped with everything you could need! It is a close drive to Calais, Lubec, and Campobello Island. We also did a day trip further into Canada from here. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you, Marcia!
