Summary: This was our first vacation in Maine and we picked a gem! The decor of this lakeside home, both inside and out, is outstanding. The living room windows is like an ever changing mural of the lake. Love this place!

Summary: A beautiful spot with some of the best views on the lake, including gorgeous sunsets. Lots of strategic seating around the property to take best advantage of those views! Great swimming and kayaking off the dock. The cottage is spotless and lacking for nothing. The hosts are thoughtful and responsive to communications insuring you have the perfect stay.

Summary: Fantastic location, beautiful home and grounds, impeccably maintained. Fell asleep to loons every night. Can't say enough good things about this home. The communication with the hosts was the best we've ever experienced. We'll definitely be back.

Summary: The property exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. In fact, we thought the photos did not show how truly lovely the property was. A generous lot on a quiet lake with pleasing landscape. There were lots of areas to sit and enjoy dinner, coffee, sunbathing, grilling and chillaxing. The hosts provide kayaks which was a bonus, allowing us to get out on the lake to visit the islands and the coves. Dan and Karen we're most accommodating, even installing an additional AC unit in the bedroom to alleviate any potential discomfort for sleeping. They stayed in touch quickly and even allowed us to arrive a little early. The property is outfitted with everything you could possibly want to cook and enjoy your surroundings, including extras like a fire pit, Bluetooth speaker, swim towels, life jackets, a full laundry and a very active hummingbird feeder! The location is great as well with a Hannaford Supermarket and many other stores just 5 Mi away, and mini golf for those cloudy days just 3 Mi away! Exploration to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor -Acadia area was a pleasant day trip away. In Ellsworth, we discovered Serendip, a Sri Lankan restaurant, Birdsacre, a pleasant hiking trail/nature sanctuary and Rooster Brothers, a fantastic cookware and homeGoods store. In Brooksville, we found a great brick oven pizza location with craft beer and delicious toppings from their own garden called Tinder Hearth. You'll be happy you booked this the Cozy Couples Getaway!

Summary: This truly is the best getaway you can find. The location is stunning and place has everything you need and is very comfortable. Waking up on the lake was spectacular, and you truly feel like you're in nature, yet Bangor is only 20 minutes away. Couldn't recommend this place more highly, we would love to stay again.

Summary: The view and garden were great. The owner was great to communicate with check is was super easy and the location is convenient. Upon arrival the oven was not working and the host offered to bring a countertop model so we could cook Cabin itself could use some updating. Nothing was fundamentally wrong but everything just seemed tired and old. The AC was not central air just one mini split so no AC in the bedroom. this was my fault I just assumed that when ac was listed it was central air. the bathroom shower was odd since the where head was way low and there was a shower door and a shower curtain. There are really nice hardwood floors in the living area then some older engineered flooring that abruptly ends at the bedroom. The bedroom floor appeared to be either painted plywood or OSB with some area rugs. There were outlets and switches that had mismatched cover plates. The kitchen sink as a mismatch of cooking utensils and knives. The countertops looked to be Formica that was cut and pieced together to make them fit which is odd since there were wolf cooktop and oven. It’s not a bad place at all and the owner communicated great just needs updating Overall depending on what your looking for this could be a great place for you

Summary: Fantastic property inside and out. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and this place was pristine. Really comfortable bed and high quality linens. The lake was the most peaceful we’ve ever been on. Hosts are wonderful—communicative and helpful. We want to make this our vacation trip every year!

Summary: Full review is in the book at the cabin. This was possibly the best Vrbo my husband and I have ever stayed in. Lovely grounds and landscaping on a peaceful lake with the amazing sounds of loons. The bed is super comfy which is really important to us on vacation. We enjoyed the kayaks at sunset and moon rise. Thank you for a great place to wind down on our first trip to Maine.
